You have to be angry about the poise and intensity this team has been displaying in every game. You have to go 2-0 to beat this Clips team. Now you dug yourself a big hole and is there displine to comeback from a 1-3? Not much.... Angry and disappointed. Lol at those who are just satisfied with 2nd round beating a self imploding Mav Team with injuries as well.
The thing that is most saddening is that the whole year, defense and toughness was what made the Rockets great. Come 2nd round, both of those things disappear.
I'm with you same here, it's just sad man losing by 20 two straight games in the 3rd q in the playoffs, then we we're a 2nd seed. I just really miss shooters like the 12-13 team, even if they played bad D... They could still push the ball & knock down 3s This team can have a lead and give it up at anytime because they don't have shooters
This is a pretty big collapse. It's hard to point fingers at a specific player or coach because we have been bent over this entire series. We looked amazing against Dallas. It almost seems like we beat Dallas and then our team felt they succeeded and their mindset is already thinking about vacation.
I don't care about losing the series. I knew that was going to happen after game 1. I do care about getting alley-ooped on over and over, blown out, fellatio offered to Harden's mom, and still no fire. At this point even winning game 5 does nothing to erase how badly the Rockets have been clowned.
I feel bad for general fans of the NBA who tuned in to see a good playoff battle and instead they get this joke of a game. 3+ hrs of wasted time and bs.
Me too, but the play of everyone on the team. The crushing lack of spirit and energy on display. And for some of you, the great verve to just attack other Rockets fans in your anger. Weird and sad. We are all horribly disappointed. And none of us are the owner or GM, probably with very good reason, on average.
I am not disappointed. After Game 1, it's clear that the Rockets are an inferior team compared to the Clippers. You shouldn't have had any expectations in the first place.
Sad thing is I still was optimistic before today. I mean Memphis were 2-1 over GSW and Bulls were 2-1 over the Cavs. So in my mind, we're 2-1 down also. Let's get this back and take them to our court! Geeeeeeeeeeeez was I wrong.
Starts with Les' refusal to spend the amount of money to get good role players. He did this when he brought in Barkley, he did this when he got Yao and Tmac, and it's happened again. By the time they put together a worthy roster Dwight's knee will be on it's last legs and Harden will be either wanting out or falling apart. Bargain bin players just are not cutting it. He's obsessed with brand image and making his fat ass richer. He's not interested in spending money. He's not focused on winning. Most of you are too young to remember our previous owners who may have been bad businessmen, but they were pretty good at roster building. The guy before Les put together the Title winning teams minus Drexler of course. So by my math before Les we had 4 finals appearances and won two of them. After Les took over we have nothing. Everyone knows Mchales system isn't working, and Daryl Morey is just Les' apprentice obsessed with older argentinian men. I won't ever give up on the Rockets but I see a dysfunctional organization from the top down.
