Reggie Miller wanted to say that you have to play with some heart but caught himself and said energy.In this instance energy means heart.

 

We are a bunch of Masochists. We like to get tortured! Can't believe we let this 3rd quarter lapse happened again

It just seems so much more than that though.

 

The clipper might be a better team but not 30 points better. Especially not with a CP that isn't 100%. This team just has no heart. The first time the clippers go on a run we just give up.

Poor coaching accompanied by lack of mentally tough talented players. If I was Morey I'm trading Dwight for Cousins and begging Aldridge to play here

 

I hope these guys enjoy their vacation. I don't see an ounce of heart in them.

 

Yo. I hate to do this but we had a good thing going until Josh Smith entered the game the first time. I really do like Josh Smith but in both games when he's returned it's been a **** show and a clippers run.

 

Crutch City .... we are hurting bad

 

why would you resign your coach before seeing how far you go in the playoffs?

 

And the reason we are getting destroyed. His floppy play doesn't work in the play offs and he is not a great 3pt shooter. For a team that wants to shoot 3's we don't have good 3 pt shooters.

 

Think about it. We could have Dragic right now tearing up gimpy Chris Paul and the dumb *** Austin Rivers. Instead, we have injured Beverley, old Prigioni, and no-defense Terry.

 

Coaching schemes aren't working - Mchale doesn't really draw up good plays, or at least he doesn't seem to stick to things that work. Also, I've noticed that we have the worst play calls out of TOs. Usually great coaches draw up high percentage plays out of TOs.

I think this team has talent, but it has flaws in its design. I wish we could get some playmakers, instead of hot and cold 3 point shooters up and down the roster. Some high IQ players

I think these blowouts are showing some issues with mental toughness and pride... you have to not give up, but that's what it seems like they are doing...

Anyways, those are my thoughts..

 

If the Rockets had lost a hard fought series with the Clippers(like the Spurs did), then I would agree with the idea that winning in the first round was enough. But Morey and Les have got to look at how they lost this series(and yes, they are going to lose barring Griffin AND Paul blowing out their knees in Game 5). The players look like they've quit on their coach. And most of these guys are veterans who've been to the Finals and won titles. For them to flame out this spectacularly tells me that there is some serious turmoil in that locker room and it has to have at least something to do with the coach who's supposedly guiding this team.

 

True. This game went to hell when Smith first came in.
