I say if we don't show up today, there's no way we are coming back from 3-1. Not after playing 3 consecutive bad games, agaist a team not fully healthy, two of those being embarrassing blowout losses.
False. Clippers would have only won three games. They need to win four and until they do, the series is not over.
I think even the most optimistic fans would answer yes. The better question is what will the Rockets need to show in a win to convince you we're likely to take the series.
I find it how comical how much of a bandwagon city this is...what makes it even worse is that the people on this site are the worst bandwagon fans beca use they jump on and off game by game...from when the OP started this thread to my post above, we had several people say it's over if we lose tonight....if we go down 3-1 and somehow still win the series, it will I find it how comical how much of a bandwagon city this is...what makes it even worse is that the people on this site are the worst bandwagon fans beca use they jump on and off game by game...if we go down 3-1 and somehow still win the series, it will be these same people yelling at the top of their lungs Clutch City is back abd tell every body how they never stopped believing...it's pretty pathetic..and maybe some of us are Homers but to me I much rather be a Homer and ALWAYS believe rather than be a bandwagon fan...u guys are the worst class of fans...and don't give me that you are realist blah blah blah....u aren't a real fan..period..be these same people yelling at the top of their lungs Clutch City is back abd tell every body how they never stopped believing...it's pretty pathetix..and maybe some of us are Homers but to me I much rather be a Homer and ALWAYS believe rather than be a bandwagon fan...u guys are the worst class of fans...and don't give me that you are realist blah blah blah....u aren't a real fan..period..
If they give up in game 5 like they do when they're down double digit points, the TC is gonna drown in boos.
Yes. Statistically speaking, the Rockets are all but finished if they lose tonight. A 3-1 deficit is not insurmountable, especially when Games 5 and 7 would be at home. But it rarely happens in the NBA since an opponent good enough to build that kind of lead is not gonna lose 3 straight games. For all intents and purposes, tonight is Game 7 for the Rockets.
I can't remember, have the Rockets ever come back from a 3-1 deficit? /sarcasm Tinman, I think we need some of your wisdom... Charles Barkley may still be angry about this one...
Depends on how the team plays if they lose. If the team show up and loses a closely contested game, there is at least a small measure of hope. If the team plays like they have play most of this series, pretty much no chance.
Yeah, I doubt the '94-95 Rockets are walking through that door. That's the only way we come back from 3-1 hole.
