I think McHale naively thought(and I'll confess that I did too) that Doc wouldn't utilize Hack-a-Dwight or Josh since the Rockets would be inclined to do the same to Jordan. Sort of an unspoken agreement between both teams.

Clearly that's out the window at this point. The Clippers have been doing it all series. I understand there's concern about foul trouble and putting LA in the penalty too early, but it's something McHale needs to consider using if the Clippers go on any sort of a run. Pop did it all last series and if you'll notice, nearly every game in that series was close aside from Games 1 and 3 which were blowouts.

Joey Dorsey should be utilized to hack Jordan when Houston isn't yet in the penalty and LA is. Obviously Doc will hack Joey if Houston is in the penalty. Nick Johnson, Pablo and Terry have a combined 18 fouls to give. KJ should be suited up just to hack Jordan.

Our backs are to the wall and our season is on the line for all intents and purposes. McHale can't afford to rest Harden on the usual schedule. Harden can't afford to rest in this game because our offense falls apart without him on the floor.

I want 80 combined minutes + points from Harden tonight. He needs to shut all these critics up and take out the Clips.

Hopefully our Defense shows some pride.

It's all about defense tonight. At the rate the Rockets are giving up points they need to hack Jordan at will and slow the game down considerably. The emphasis needs to be on getting back in transition. More PnR and inside-out on offense.

Instead of always attacking from the top of the Key, maybe Mchale or Harden himself cant get setup in a better spot

Thats the thing that irks me. McHales saying that he needs to get the ball into Dwight mroe. He'll have a wicked good 1st half and then McHale forgets all about him. He allows other guys to play hero ball and doesnt reel them in and have them focus on the game plan.
