The next game is the test for the grizzlies. If recent history prevails, the grizzlies will end up losing game 4.

If the grizzlies come out and dominate again I will be pleasantly surprised. Definitely not counting any chickens right now.

Just their whole team is likeable. No love from the media, bunch of underdogs. Conley making a Willis Reed return to inspire the team. Grit & Grind.

Does anyone else think that Draymond Green is one of the most annoying players in the NBA? I don't why, but I can't stand him.

The Grizzlies could upset the Warriors. Very possible. Live by the jump shot, die by the jump shot. Both Curry and Harden have kind of disappeared in the playoffs, relatively speaking. Actually Harden's numbers are better.

 

He was an ass when Mark Jackson coached them.... man down...

 

I kinda feel that the grizzlies are going to be fighting with refs adversity in this game.

The nba knows how important this game is and usually the least sexy team (the grizzlies) are going to have to win this game despite the refs. I hope I am wrong.

If you make a list of all the good shooters that Morey has traded away it is longer than you think.

They are easy to root for, for sure. Too bad that what gave up on them when they fired that one coach.

But seriously, Curry is more freaked out than Harden, easily. Steph air balled that one pretty clean look by like 8 feet to the left. It was pretty weird. (Can't find a vine or gif of it yet.)

EDIT: Had to go take a walk around San Francisco with the dog just now, to see all the sad Warrior fans coming out of bars. I am a sick b*stard, but I enjoyed the schadenfreude after the Rockets' weird troubles in round 2.

 

The caliber of these two teams is so much greater than the Rockets.

I expect the Trust Fund Bros to get hot shooting again. They've got a couple of games/chances to get back the home advantage.

 

It was refreshing to see Warriors struggle on offensive for once.

 

I am going to defend the Rockets here. When you are missing two starters, one being one of the two best perimeters dedenders in Bev, and the other our best post offensive player in D-Mo, it might be too much to overcome against a contender like the Clippers.

in sum, you lose firepower and your defense has gone to chitter.

We might be only down 1-2, but make no mistake, that series is over. Just be prepared to accept this if you are Rockets fan.

 

Sorry neither Beverley nor DMo have proven they can dictate the outcome of a playoff game nor a series.

We will have to wait for next year and next next year.
