I think we should consider not running on this catcher

Safe to say Luhnow probably wants a redo on that Conger trade. NiTro would be nice to have right now and Perez looks like he will be a good backup C in the league for a long time.

Maybe we can trade Hank Conger for him, maybe get them to throw in a good young starting pitcher.

    Oh.

And he should be our backup catcher right now. With NiTro still in the organization.

That's just about the only move he's made that I don't understand.

Keuchel was due to have a poor start at some point, hope he settles down.

Carter's swing is just so relaxed, even with a struggling bat.

Conger adds a lot of value that we don't understand. Apparently he is very coveted defensively, and is more of a pitching coach behind the plate/ a morale booster in the dugout rather than a valuable bat.

Conger does add a lot of value. Granted, I think Tropeano is going to be very good.

I wish Valby was just a bit better of a hitter. He's the best defensive 3b I've seen on this team in ages.

I'm happy to have an actual MLB 3rd baseman this year

That is the devil's advocate argument. But I've always felt having Nitro was better than whatever slight improvement Conger might give us over Stassi or Perez.
