We need a secondary facilitator. Harden's MVP performance has duped us into thinking we can get away with having Harden be the only playmaker on the floor. Lawson? Second run at Dragic? Chance that Phoenix parts with Knight on a S&T for some young talent? D-Mo coming back solves our post option dilemma and if Howard plays the same way next season, we should be fine with the post players. We really need a secondary perimeter playmaker. Jones, Papa, KJ, 1st round Pelicans pick. We have the assets. Morey needs to cash in quick. Still think.. Lawson-Harden-Ariza-Dmo-Howard Bev-Brew-Smith-Capela Pls.
In general teams needing a pg except those you mentioned are also the Jazz and in case they get top 2 and draft another big Philly (but Lawson will be too old for them) . Orlando can also use a backup when they will let Ridnour go. As for Lowry he is available 100% since Ujiri himself almost said it. Everythingn that has come out of Toronto says that one of their three will be traded within the next year. He and Casey have a bad relationship and since the FO so far has supported the coach Lowry will be the most available out of all the Raptors players. He's too old for their core too. Lawson is much better than Lowry and younger. And even though he is a headcase he has better personality than Lowry. However with Jazz and Kings on the market the Rockets won't be able to beat their offers.
Quoted for truth. dont worry about cyber though. He's a lakers fan so he has much bigger problems to worry about. Like trying to jack up jordan hills trade value *snicker*
we need to find a way to get lawson, he will put this team over the top no doubt about it....use MLE to sign Smith and mcdaniels , Let brew walk,Resign bev, trade NO pick, Jones, Pap for lawson, i would even add a player overseas like Gentile Lawson,Bev,Johnson Harden,Johnson,Bev Ariza,McDaniels Dmo,Smith Howard.Capela Looking at this lineup we might need another wing player to back harden up and be extra insurance
When was he ever? Correct me if I have my facts wrong, but he's won more games than the previous season as long as he has been here. He's now advanced past the first round in the playoffs. He's got the best winning percentage of any coach in rockets history. Players love playing for him. Morey and Les love him. He has a championship pedigree (at least, as a player). He just signed a contract extension earlier this season. Do you REALLY think he's going anywhere anytime soon? Spoiler I don't. And these are all the reasons Morley and Les will give for why they are sticking with Mchale. Unfortunately, by the time they realize Mchale gets consistently out-coached in the playoffs, DH12 will be done and that window will have closed.
The PG trading market has many limiting factors this summer. I suspect Denver/Lawson/Karl may be included in the limiting factors department. I'm keeping my eye on a 'freebie': D-Will. I believe he will be stretched and, if available, might want to join up with Howard, his close buddy in his home state. (He's not going to Dallas!) Whether this would be a good outcome for the Rox or not is subject to honest debate; great cost with good not great PG with injury and personality issues.
Cyber please give us a update on anything please. I just need some kind of excitement not really looking forward to tomorrow night.
Cyberx ever said Morey told someone he think D.Jordan is better than Dwight in this thread this Feb. As Dwight's knee may pull him away from elite level, he will either go away in 2016 or sign a big and long contract. Both ways make us just a first-rounder or second-rounder team. So it's time to part away him now. Maybe we can trade Dwight to CLE for Kevin Love, and sign D. Jordan in free agency. That could be a 3-way S&T CLE gets Dwight Howard LAC gets Brendan Haywood, K-pap, TJ, pick (those more than 15m non-guranteed contracts can help them get another starter center, like Monroe, Asik, Koufos), Hou gets D.Jordan, Kevin Love. We can trade away Ariza to get the cap space to sign D.Jordan, so LAC have to deal him in S&T if he desires to come back home. ESPN reported he "extremely instrested" to join Dallas, which is also a Texas team. If Houston and James Harden wants him, he at least serious consider it.
James Harden, Kevin Love, D.Jordan, Clint Capela makes 57m in 2016~2017, so if we dump Ariza and Dmo for picks in 2016, we will get the space to sign Kevin Durant... make it happen, Daryl
