Yet the Bills, Cowboys, Dolphins and a number of other teams in the league(offensive line challenged and those with depth in the offensive line) had no problem going after Collins despite the uncertainty. Not these Texans though. Why take the chance right? Especially after not drafting an O-lineman in any round. Good thing we know Hoyer and Mallett have that Aaron Rodgers elusiveness.
Cowboys pretty much added three 1st round prospects this year. Sounds like everything with Collins is cleared for now so this is an absolute steal for their OL. But also baffled that we didn't draft OL. Current depth chart is scary with no backups at C and LG.
Picked up Geg Mancz as a udf .. Scouting report on him looks promising and I remember seeing mocks with him going 5th rd .. Could be a nice center after some coaching up
Mancz is a total technician of the offensive line. He's just got to get his strength up to par. Give him a year in an NFL training regimen and he'll be good to go.
Well, looks like Dante Fowler is going the Clowney route after tearing his ACL in training camp. He's gone for the entire season. Good news for us, we get to play the Jags like they never drafted a first rounder.
That's pretty rough, injuries can happen to anyone, just awful luck to have it happen at the very first practice.
True. Football wise I'm glad we don't have to deal with a force like that, but at the same time this kind of situation sucks for Dante, for the Jags, and for their fans.

Well things just got worse for the Jags: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Confirmed via <a href="https://twitter.com/APMarkLong">@APMarkLong</a> that Justin Blackmon DID apply for reinstatement and was denied.</p>— Mike Dempsey (@md_1010xl) <a href="https://twitter.com/md_1010xl/status/597143880417419264">May 9, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Just great. we keep drafting faat players who can't handle this cool weather in May. it's only 90 degrees and 70% humidity. just wait til july, fatties. (posting while eating donuts) good to read that about Mumphery though.
If Strong is still struggling with conditioning by the time he gets to camp it'll be an issue, but I highly doubt that'll be the case.
