Again, attacking the victim.....it doesn't really matter what she is in her private life, she did nothing wrong in this instance. Make this event an art exhibit put on by an atheist group in California and how many here have totally different views on this attempted terrorist attack?
Actually, her being a victim does not take away from her also being a bigot. Just as someone assaulting the leader of the Westboro Church would not make the victim any less of a bigot. But you didn't answer my question... what political ideology does Geller's bigotry make her?
It is a r****ded question. Similar to Sweet Tard 4 is a r****d, what political ideology does that make him? Some kind of nonsense.
Okay, so the next time a rape case comes up and the talk is about the victim's character instead of the crime, you should just keep your mouth shut about it because you are every bit as bad. Carry on.
In your example the rape victim's character is being assailed in order to defend the act. I am in no way defending the shooting attack. But Geller was a bigot the day before the shooting. She was a bigot the day of the shooting. And after the shooting... she continues to be a bigot. You still avoid answering the question... which political ideology represents Geller's bigotry? You are the one who claimed she is only being criticized because of political ideology. So what is her political ideology?
bobby made the claim she is being criticized due to her political ideology. Hence the question... which political ideology? Though I agree with your example, though calling her a r****d might be inappropriate...
Pamela Geller vs Imam Anjem Choudary on Fox News, Hannity: 'You Want Her To Die!' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYCfP4Eg1B4 Watch this and tell me who the crazy one is. Pathetic that this is even under discussion, SMH...
Where does this notion come from that one is immune to criticism of their past actions and words because a crime was committed against them?
Again, for about the 1000th time, this woman did not deserve to be shot at for any of the things she has said or done. No one ever deserves. That doesn't mean her words now can go without criticism because some dip**** terrorists did what they did. I don't understand why it's so hard to grasp this pretty simple concept. Even for someone so blind with hatred as you are.
And a big **** YOU to you, you ****ing kraut. I've had people very close to me be raped and to accuse me of making that sort of argument is offensive. Go to hell, *******.
Did anyone say that? But why don't you start a new thread to criticize her? Are you capable of understanding that it is bizarre that people like you and others almost exclusively focus on criticizing the victim, when, in relation to someone trying to murder human beings with assault rifles for having drawn pictures, whatever she did or said is not even remotely comparable in terms of criminal or moral reprehensibility? Do you even realize that by doing so, you are following the terrorists' logic to some degree? Because their attempted murder is based on a "logic" that says that whatever she said is so terrible that she deserves to die. Now I know that you are not saying or thinking that, but when people like g1184 say she is "just as crazy" as the shooters, it sure sounds like relativizing the crime and blaming the victim.
No, nearly everyone one of my posts in this thread have explicitly mentioned that the terrorists are, in fact, terrorists. But fine, since you are so ****ing stupid, I'll grant you your wish.
You don't find it a little strange that a thread that basically broke the news on a terrorist act is all about how crappy the potential victim is once it passed the first 2 pages? I've seen terrorist in quotes dozens of times on reddit.
Not really. Any discussion of a crime will often look into the background of the victim. Consider no matter what side of the discussion you were on there was extensive discussion of both Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman's background. The same with Michael Brown and Darren Wilson. So even in the cases where there was much debate about which party was the victim there was a lot of talk about how crappy the potential victim was.
I don't need any luck, you can shove your faux well-wishes up your ass. I'm about to leave my great job with one of hte oldest companies in the world, go to my amazing new home with my beautiful wife who is about to give birth to what I can only assume will be another amazing kiddo. My life is actually extremely awesome. But obviously, you've never been close to someone who's been raped (that would mean you'd need to actually live a life off the internet, loser) and held them a decade later as they still deal with the grief and issues an act like that causes. It's offensive to bring up that comparison to me when I keep saying the words "she does not and never deserves to be harmed for saying those words".
