So do they expect the refs to swallow the whistle when the Clippers wrap their arms around Dwight and Josh?

I thought they were just talking about the hack-a-stuff but nope, this is about Harden getting too many freethrows.

Stephen A goes on about how he likes Harden but you can't breathe on him. The moment he steps into the paint they blow the whistle and how the Rockets got 64 FTs! (Well 21 of those were Dwight free throws.)

I just hope the refs don't feel the pressure from the clear narrative ESPN is trying to push about game 2. They are basically complaining to the refs for the Clippers but it's worse because it's coming from a 'neutral' party...although it's quite clear they are pushing for a Clippers-Warriors WCF. Yet to see someone just not bring up the FTs or if they do bring them up say "Yeah, but a lot of those were intentional fouls."

Harden had 15 FTs, it's not like he had 30 or something. He's had games where he's had more.

On Sportscenter they even talked about the Bulls game and Rose not getting ant FTs and the sportscaster says "Well maybe if he played for the Rockets!" HAHA!

So after Game 1, everyone said Harden had to be more aggressive and dominate. Now that he did that in the final 14 minutes of Game 2, everyone is saying he was rewarded with too many free throws? Is there a set amount the media is ok with? 10? 8?

Did the guy ever stop from flopping? You add Paul & Davis, that's THE team of the flopper in NBA.

I still expect the Rocket to win in 6, but Harden has to give the effort, and play smart for more than just a qtr.

    Hypothetical Random stat

If both the Rockets and Clippers have hit all free throws and 3 pointer attempts, your final score would have been by my calculations:

    Clippers 173
    rockets 200

    This is not a joke.

Stop what ?? It's a fun stat. It shows you that we missed 22 free throws and 21 three pointers.

What's funny is Irving had 12 FTs last night. Nothing about that.

    So far this series.

    Blake - 21 FTA
    Harden - 21 FTA

Yep, they are right. Harden has WAAY too many FTs

    just heard this on 610.

rockets became the first and only team to miss 20+ ft's and 20+ 3's and still won a game.

shall i feel good or bad? i am confused. :)

If the Rockets can hit open shots consistently from here on out, they will beat the Clippers.

I have to hand it to Jason Terry. His defense on Reddick these last two games has been awesome.

He has been an unsung hero defensively.

Arash is up there with Amin Elhassan when it comes to the biggest idiots hired by ESPN.

Anybody know how many free throws came out of the Clippers intentionally fouling us?

true, and if he doesn't give up the ball, over play him on his left.

    Clips' strategy has been to
    • make Harden's teammates to beat the Clips
    • if Harden doesn't give up the ball, make him go to the right

I think it's warranted, but the fact that the league didn't do **** about the Draymond Green and Harrison Barnes flops in their series against the Pelicans that were easily just as bad is pure hypocrisy.
