Clips are screwed if Arizas bricks (turnover equivalents) start falling. Can't help but think his shot can only get better. But please please no more one dribble 2 point jumpers Ariza. Your set three pointer will fall eventually.

When the game is a "if necessary" they sometimes put a weird time like that.

Against the Mavs, when the Rockets were up 3-0, they showed the time for Game 5 as 12. After the Mavs won Game 4, they changed the time to the real one.

I know its seriously annoying. Just watched another highlight of the game on ESPN and they closed with "64 FT's for the Rockets, hmm spotlight on the officials. Thats never a good thing"

I mean did they even watch the freaking game? If you take into account the fouls on Dwight and Josh, and the fouls at the end of the game, thats half of the 64 FT's right there. I mean c'mon do something other than look at a boxscore if you're going to put "analysis" like this out there

anyone else frustrated with brewer's defense?

i mean we all made fun of austin rivers falling down but he straight up crosses brewer because he reaches and was going to be an easy lay-up.

this isn't an isolated incident either. i was shocked by his D all game and he was one of the main offenders in the 'giving up' clip at g1.

I am. He has been making costly gambles that have resulted in wide open threes.

You're not the only one. He also was playing way too aggressively in the 1st half against Crawford when the Rockets were in the penalty. You have to know the foul situation and not get too physical or else you'll hand them points at the free throw line.

Brewer and Smith haven't played well at all thus far in the series. The good news is they're probably both due for a breakout game soon. Hopefully tomorrow night.

Brewer was pretty solid on defense most of the game, but I don't think he's been great on defense in the play-offs at any point so..

Jeez. I don't even think I'm obsessed with the Rockets, but while I'm savoring the moment of what seems like a good series, tomorrow night 7:30 PM (Pacific for me) can't get here soon enough. SWEET game last night, after some clueless and scary play by the Rockets in the 2nd.

Smith's pick and roll defense is down right shocking.

Weak sauce. If that's the barrier then everyone in that game should have been fined.

Oh, you have GOT to be kidding me. He was actually FOULED. He accentuated the contact, yes, but Hudson clearly pushed off. The hypocrisy from the league office is sickening.

The entire narrative on ESPN today is that the Rockets got too many FTs and that James Harden goes to the line too much.

This is pretty amazing, seems like ESPN is complaining to the refs for the Clippers. They are basically calling out the refs.

I can't even complain. It was pretty egregious.

However...let's pay attention to the stuff Chris Paul does once he returns...

Don't pencil out Blake either. That dude pretty much admitted he's going to start flopping now.

Oh it's a flop... but! Everybody in that game had a fall like that here or there. There was a Harden flop in that game that resulted in a no call. The league should have put James on that list too.
