I'm sure he meant platoon with Rasmus instead of Grossman if he does well in this stint for Springer

Cmon, all we need are 12 runs to pull this out.

Rasmus and Tucker are both left handed hitters. I don't really want to sit Rasmus vs a righty and I would not have high expectations for Tucker vs left handed pitching.

Tucker has consistently hit lefties better than righties and Rasmus is not playing good defense. Tucker should get a shot.

I figured it wouldn't be worse than Grossman if Tucker is performing at a high level (Tucker being the one vsL).

Chickens came home to roost in this series, took it on the chin in these last 2.

Win you win 14 of 15 a bad stretch is inevitable.

And if only they'd done that Tuesday night, we would've won the game last night!

I really don't enjoy the Astros beat writers.

Ever read his twitter feed? Any chance he gets to slam the front office, he takes it. Plus, he can't just say it once....he has to tweet some form of the slam in about 458 different tweets. It's annoying.

I'm not saying he needs to be a homer beat writer like McClain, but good lord man...lighten up a bit.

Repped. Yeah, that's what I was referring to. He had numerous tweets in a row criticizing how long it took the Astros to make the decision on Springer by saying they really could've used another pitcher last night. Even though they weren't going to call up a pitcher to replace Springer anyway.

Worst of all, he retweets jdjo.

Yeah, I just shook my head at those tweets last night.

We played Hank F'n Conger in the OF last night due to our empty bench, but we would call up another pitcher for Springer.

Not only that, Deduno still would have started. Deduno still would have gotten rocked. Another bullpen arm wouldn't have made a lick of difference.

Are you guys talking about that Evan Drellich guy? If so, I totally agree. He has some good insider info every once in awhile but overall he always seems to be out to criticize the stros or point out anything that was slightly misjudged and make bigger of it than it actually is

And then lectures people not to jump to conclusions if it looks like something justifies the Astros' decision. See Aiken, Brady.

Shocker, Drellich is now throwing passive aggressive jabs at the front office's handling of the Rule 5 draft after we DFA'd Torreyes.
