Not sure what is less tolerable... games with good pitching and no hitting (wasting your ace's performance), or games with no pitching and no hitting (just makes you look hapless). No hitting is the common theme in both, btw... they better start to come around soon or else this 1-2 months of delaying Correa for service time issues could be the difference between playoffs and no playoffs. (wink)
May be the first team in history to win 10 in a row and then lose 10 in a row. Right now this team looks worse than anything we had last year.
They were pretty bad last April. And with Springer out/struggling, Carter struggling, and less than optimal performances from the #3-4 guys in the rotation, this team in the field IS about as bad as anything from last year.
Not sure if this has been posted but it looks like Tucker could be joining the team tomorrow. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Preston Tucker out of Fresno lineup for first time. Astros head to Anaheim tomorrow. Tucker for Springer, Lowrie to 60 could well be move.</p>— Evan Drellich (@EvanDrellich) <a href="https://twitter.com/EvanDrellich/status/596113353845518336">May 7, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Correa maybe have impacted the Keuchel game. I'd rather find a serviceable 5th SP rather than Deduno. If Peacock isn't going to be ready soon, I'd rather see a low-level trade. Lohse has been suggested...I'd be all for that
