Out of the 6 playoff games this year that Crawford has officiated, the Home team has averaged 8 more FTA, 4 less fouls called on them, and has won 4 of the 6 games.

Also, Crawford was the ref for Game 1 of DAL/HOU. Harden was 15-17 from FT...but Howard only played 17 minutes due to foul trouble.

Joey has actually been kind to us lately. It's those imbeciles Tony Brothers and Ken Mauer that are the problems.

You are an absolute idiot. There's no other way around it.

I wish Harden would pick up on some of T-Mac's picking up his game dramatically in the Playoffs.

T-Mac was never afforded the comfort of having role players like Harden does. If he did... I shudder to think.

You act like McGrady was laying goose eggs out there instead of elevating his game to another level in the Playoffs the likes of which we've only seen a few of the greats do.

Get a clue and stop with the blind hatred trying to get some rep points from tinman

In the first 3 playoff series that James Harden has played in for the Rockets, they have won 1 road game in each series. ('13 OKC, '14 POR, '15 DAL). The problem in the OKC and POR series was that HOU lost multiple home games.

So if Rockets can simply hold serve at home in Games 2, 5, and 7, I am confident they can take 1 of 3 in LAC!

They came here and did what they had to do. Steal one game. They're making a good move resting Paul again and making sure he's at full strength the rest of the way.

However, if the Rockets can crush them tonight and get some rhythm and momentum going to LA, we can achieve...

Could also be that they're resting him because they won the first game and already split the away games.

I think with LAC winning Game 1 without Paul, their confidence will be very high tonight. But I think this Rockets team will come out with a lot more energy and aggression that the Clippers won't know how to handle. I expect a HUGE 1st half for Houston, potentially a 10-20 point lead, and then it will all depend on if Houston can maintain that energy and effort in the 2nd half.

    Rockets 125
    Clippers 104

Agreed. I think Paul would've gone tonight if the Rockets had shown up for Game 1 and won(especially if it wasn't close). He'll almost certainly go in Game 3 if the Rockets don't screw up again tonight. But I'm curious to see what condition he'll be in. There's little downtime between these games, so he may have to play injured the rest of the series.

Forget the first game. Go to LA tied 1-1.

You don't sit out of a playoff game for "rest".

This is do or die. Every game matters. The injury is a huge issue for the Clippers right now.
