Boateng looked like a sniper shot him when he fell. Hilarious.

Messi is Goat. We all know that, except Portuguese and Madridistas.
Luis Enrique got outcoached by Pep, unfortunately for Pep he had Alaba, Ribery, and Robben injured. Lewadonwski and Basti didn't look comfortable. Fortuntately for Lucho well he has the GOAT.

Suarez needs to stop missing gimmies.

Where was he outcoached? The team was perfectly set up and showed no weakness today.

Pep insists on Lahm playing in the midfield, where he's mediocre and commits a ton of turnovers. Rafinha on the left side makes no sense either. Why play Schweini and Lahm for the whole game, when they had a bad night and we have someone like Martínez on the bench? Why have our defensive line this high, Barca could set up players for 1 vs Neuer situations all game.

Feel like Pep is overrated at this point, haven't seen anything great at Bayern yet. Showing variety is great, but for once play your players at their right position.

I've been a CRonaldo is better than Messi kinda guy ever since CRonaldo made the move to Old Trafford and even though Messi was a Messiah even before the U20 WC, I couldn't bring myself to admit an Argentinian was the best player(I have a deeply rooted dislike for Argentinian #10's because of EL Diego).
Deep down I knew he was the best player in the world, I just couldn't and wouldn't admit it.

Fawk it, Messi is the Messiah. He is God's chosen footballer. Messi over CRonaldo. (Sorry Ronnie :( )

Yeah that was also shocking to read Rox1 write that.
I haven't heard or read anyone say Luis Enrique was outcoached. If anyone got outcoached it was Pep(though he could point to the injuries but then again, he's decision to give it a go at Barca and not play deeper, try to park the bus a bit and get back to Munich not too badly hurt, backfired).

You Bayern fans have been complaining about Pep playing Lahm in midfield for a while now and I've agreed completely. I just wonder which of them is forcing the issue, Pep or Lahm. I mean someone has to shake one or both of them and say "No damnit, you are not a midfielder!"

Also, I haven't read all the pages yet but have you and ATW already talked about Bernat? My goodness, when is Alaba returning? I know there is no way Bernat even bothered showering after the match. I'm sure he got on the team bus and went to find a seat far, far, far away from Neuer's preferred seat.

I would be inclined to agree but all one needs to bring up is the lack of a World Cup medal. That's the only argument against him but I'm sure it'd be a great discussion.

I hope you all are alright. I'm surprised you brought up security as I wouldn't have imagined security for opposing supporters at Camp Nou would be an issue like in a number of other stadiums in other countries-Italy for example.

Barca has Neymar and Messi, they don't need Suarez. Send Pistolero back to LFC. In return, we'll give you rising star and teen sensation Joe Allen.

You sir are a con artist. Why not send someone that's currently in his prime? A proven goalscorer over the course of many seasons in the Premiership and European Football? Someone like say Rickie Lambert?

Maybe add in Dejan Lovren. Now that is another player in his prime. An absolute master in defence. Lovren plus Lambert for Suarez sounds like a fair move.

Really annoyed. I watched most of the game then my feed went out right before the Messi goodness.

With what I saw it is absurd to say that Pep out coached anyone. Barca controlled the game even when it was 0-0. Bayern came out strong at the beginning of the second half but still weren't much of a threat...just held onto the ball a bit longer. Lahm kept lofting weird balls to nobody.

It is too bad they were banged up but also too bad Pep didn't try to play back and defend and hope to get lucky (which is what you usually do when down men). With that front line of attack, you need to put your best back line out there and have them play smart and basically shadow with one free to try to deny things before they get out of hand. Lahm should have been at the back.

Poor Boateng. He is a good defender generally but now he is just a joke for a while.

Sorry for the Bayern guys in here, I feel for ya - but watching Messi playing like that is the reason you watch football. Unbelievable.

I do think that it's obviously not a real meeting between the two teams. Bayern was missing its best players, which is a shame - you want the semis to be full-strength matchups.

Sorry I respect their team and with their finances and debts.

But I could never root for a team that was associated with Franco in the past (Real)

    Yeah.

No way this goes without Sterling or Sturridge in that package.

Suarez was like a God there. You have to part with the best.
