this. i was thinking something was wrong with the sound. i could only hear reggie/marv. it was so dead.
Our PA announcer never gets the crowd involved in cheers unless it's the "TWO NOISY FREE THROWS" bit. Conversely, Dallas' PA announcer has them going pretty much the whole game. I will also say the dim lighting makes the experience feel much more laid back. They really need to brighten the lights on the court to make the crowd feel more engaged. In general, I think our in-game experience could be significantly better.
i normally don't mind the crowd, but even early it was pathetic IMO. a whole heap of the corpertes are a disgrace, the biggest thing that can distract a player in professional sports is sound, something everyone in the TC can change
maybe not the right wording for you all, but corporates are just the people or companies who buy the tickets on the floor or the lower bowl tickets just because they have the money. they seem to not give 2 s%^$# at all, i mean I'm half way across the world awake @ 5am worrying about our 2nd game FFS!! wheres their bloody passion
Somebody gotta get in touch with the red rowdie "master" or wtv they call it and get them on the same page.. Maybe they're too loud in they're own section that they can't hear the pa?
Y'all can get mad at me if you want. I think the Red Rowdies make the game atmosphere worse, especially during the regular season. The Red Rowdies are never in sync with the PA system. When it is quiet and some people decide to chant defense with the PA, it doesn't work because the Red Rowdies are shouting their own chant. In turn, the rest of the crowd is quiet at the expense of the Red Rowdies. And I agree with the sentiment on the PA in general. The PA leads very few chants of defense, uses very few sound effects/other noises to hype people up. Toyota Center is too nice of a facility, in my opinion. That's why we have a more corporate crowd. It could also be a result of how expensive prices are. Compare that game experience to going to a Dynamo game at old Robertson Stadium. There were no amenities at Robertson; you went solely to watch the game and cheer for the team. Just my two cents.
