When you let a scrub like Austin Rivers light you up, you deserve to lose. Clippers in 4.

All I will say is this game shows why we need Beverley and more importantly DMO . All this talk about harden and ariza , but you can't your 4's get outplayed so badly by the other team's

Chef Harden with those sweet sweet turnovers. MVP level stuff right there.

Hopefully, he's pencilled in in a trade package for LaMarcus Aldridge.

They probably would have lost to the Sixers tonight. A team shooting themselves in the foot against a team trying to lose.

clippers beat the spurs for crying out loud that means something. We didnt learn much from last seasons 0.9 to be honest. I knew this rest was horrible for oour team, because they had momentum and confidence. The rockets were sitting at home eating popcorn for a week. Its basically like coming back from the offseason and playing in preseason mode when the other team just came from a game 7 atmosphere playing their best.

Said it a while ago...Dmo did a lot for our defense and for our team.

You could argue he was our 3rd best player.

I still have the Rockets in 6....i really blame this on complacency with this team....

Hope this game serves a big slap on our faces to wake the flip up

The response in game 2 determines what kind of team we are, although I wish we could have separated ourselves before halftime and killed their hopes, instead of letting them hang around and gain confidence. James needs to face some heat(or a 10 minute video) for his lack of killer instinct at times, which is his only weakness and what can take him to the next level of elite aka multiple rings.

The last 2 minutes disgusted me. I actually had to turn it off.

I don't care if we were losing by 400 with 2 minutes left, you don't let the opposing team get what they want on offense while you walk on defense. Absolutely no hustle and it's unacceptable, especially on our home court.

The most disappoint thing about this game was that you could see when our players lost their composure. Ariza and Smith were so frustrated at times this game and they let their frustration show on the court. You can't have that. No matter how frustrated you are, you cannot let that show on the court.

I don't understand why we are so immature sometimes. Part of me wanted to believe that the Rockets would take care of this game and win handedly. Maybe this team is actually serious about the playoffs? Maybe the know how important Game 1 is when you have homecourt? Maybe they actually gave a crap?

Nope. What did we do instead? Turn the ball over 23+ times, miss 10+ free throws, let the Clippers have whatever they want and hang around till they could hit shots, zero effort on defense.

Honestly, everyone but Howard stunk tonight.

It clear to me that Howard actually wants to win and is serious, but I don't know about the team as a whole. He played his game, stuck to himself and it showed while others were trying behind the back passes and trying to be something they are not.

Wednesday becomes a must win. It will probably take a blowout for me to regain some sort of belief in the Rockets but I'll take a 10 point win. Now we have to steal one at LA.

If this team doesn't show up on Wednesday, it's over I think.

They did nearly lose to the Sixers this season. At home. It took a last second shot by Harden to secure a 1-point win. And that was during Philly's very lengthy winless streak to start the year.

We'll see what this team is made of on Wednesday. But I have a bad feeling this series may already be over. If the Clippers did this to the Rockets in Toyota Center sans Chris Paul and running on fumes, what the hell's gonna happen when they're at full strength and at home?

Yep we deserved that loss. No energy. Mentally weak.

We will come back strong and hopefully can make some adjustments.

Yup. I think it also proves that LOHs do exist. Lin has been gone for an entire year now and yet he's still obsessed with him.

(Just saw his join date, I think this pretty much explains it).

No respect Rockets, sorry fellas but no respect. You can't quit in a playoff game and expect to be taken seriously.

McHale won't give them an earful. He really shouldn't have to honestly. If they weren't completely embarrassed by that second half performance then they desperately need to re-evaluate who they are as men.

Pathetic is the first word that comes to mind, but honestly that doesn't even really describe it enough.

They better rise up and bring the fight next game or this whole series will be embarrassing.

BTW, those of you that actually wanted the clippers are INSANE. You can't run the pick and roll every single possession against Griffin and Jordan.

James Harden had 9 TO's tonight and played his usual matador defense. He looked disengaged and disoriented, this team will only go as far as our supposed #1 player wants us to go. He can't simply half-ass it out there for 3 quarters and expect to come out with a win in the 2nd round of the god damn playoffs.
