REMINDER: Tracy McGrady has one of the top all-time playoff PERs in playoff history.

    We needed T-Mac tonight.

Tracy wasn't perfect during the playoffs, but that dude gave it his all. He was just severely hindered by a body that wore down too quickly. There are no words for the dump that Harden takes on the floor in the playoffs. None at all.

Having a bad game is one thing.

Having a bad game in the playoffs, against an opponent missing the best PG in the game, with a chance to take a playoff series lead? That's completely different.

Harden needs to redeem himself in the next few games. You can wave off a few bad games in the regular season, but in the playoff, every single damn game counts, and we just let the Clippers steal one on our own homecourt. For tonight, Harden and the rest of the Rockets deserve all the criticism they get.

Not just tonight but I have seen Harden quits when faced with adversity

Anyway Curry is a deserving MVP and a tad bit better player overall

Harden IS the Rockets mismatch against the Clips. And he played down to their level

Griffin gets a triple double against inferior opposition

You KNOW what Chris PAUL will do against weaker defenders

I would kill to give tmac this roster. If we had tmac instead of harden we would have won by 20

Harden is still a super star player... thing is he had better games in the Regular season than the playoffs when intensity is at its highest

When everything is focused on him, he tends to get softer than in some regular season games

Wish him well and further growth as a leader

We were well rested while the banged up Clippers barely edged out the Spurs in 7. Two days ago.

Hard for me to see the silver lining here TBH

Can someone explain this thread poll to me? It's like choosing between variations of the same negative.

Thread title should be "Did this one game out of 88 so far, prove that that Curry is far and away better than James Harden?"

Come on, OP. You're better than that.

where's that guy from game thread, when I said even if CP don't play harden has to play good team D, the only time they were getting all those open looks in corner was when harden was in.

It's not always his man but the team D takes a hit because players are scrambling

Been saying all year that Curry was the best player in the league and I would trade Harden for him, nothing has changed because Harden stunk tonight.

    no, just, no....

    And I am not a T-Mac hater

I'll take my chance with Harden trying to figure it over that theoretical what-if

(At least T-Mac woulda played harder DEFENSE)

Rockets simply came out flat for the exception of Dwight! Harden came out with lame defense and energy

It is a disturbing pattern. I saw it live at that home loss to the Suns back in March. The moment he gets defended by a physical opponent and the whistles aren't being blown, he just stands back and dribbles the ball as if he's waiting for something to magically happen. Thankfully it doesn't happen often, but it does seem to occur with more frequency in the playoffs which concerns me.
