This is the leaked lineup. Seems too good to be true to me. Is it official yet?

Meh. Not worth the price this year. Thought it would be a better top line with what was going on at other festivals this year.

Another headliner is expected to be added. Good line up IMO.

No offense to your generation, but 90s rap music was insanely better.

ACL lineup is a little disappointing this year. As far as the Drake argument goes, the old people are right. Old rap is better than most current rap.

I don't disagree. Nas is one of my favorite artists.
I just think Drake is the best rapper of THIS generation, and his music is too stylistically different from 90s rap to compare the two.
    So I enjoy both.

Last year was better, I only went on Saturday weekend 1. Eminem killed it, Lana del Rey was mesmerizing

Can confirm. Eminem's performance was outstanding. Also, Outkast was there. Hard to beat that...

What does a live hip-hop show offer? Seriously. Live music should be about... live... music. Never understood why people dig those shows. Seeing instruments in person is completely different from just one guy on stage walking around rapping memorized lyrics.

Most of the time they aren't even rapping on stage. They are just voicing over their own pre recorded lyrics during key parts of the song. This is more so during smaller club shows. Not really sure about the big arena shows since I don't attend those.

Here is a good example of what happens:

Live Hip-hop (for me) is kinda like going to a live Rockets game. You're there because you're a fan and you want to experience the energy and hype in person. You could have stayed home and enjoyed the good presentation provided by TNT/ESPN/Root Sports with all of the cameras and probably a better view... but you don't grasp the full spirit of the event.
