Why this sudden interest in drawing Muhammad? Free speech just for the sake of exercising free speech isn't really something worth instigating violence over. Is that idea that the more they do it, the more Muslims will be desensitized to it?
Nope. They are a Muslim hate group. Their goal is to incite violence. Interesting general facts: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stop_Islamization_of_America
Well, as distasteful as they are, when it actually does draw out loons who are willing to shoot up the event, then I'm glad the violent loons were stopped.
What is the point of putting cheese in a mousetrap? That isn't the normal place to store your cheese.
"Instigating violence"? They exhibited pictures. People who turn violent over something like that have nobody to blame but themselves.
All perspective is lost. They drew pictures. Nothing more. Zero justification for violence of any kind. Protest... Have a dialogue... You don't kill people and blow people up.
Could you imagine what would happen if a bunch of black protesters dressed like that in Baltimore and Ferguson.
I'm not going to be security for instigators so you have fun with that. Katrina Pierson*@KatrinaPierson ALAC needs to be fast tracked. I'll be damned if these people set up in #Texas #txlege @DanPatrick @KenPaxtonTX https://twitter.com/scottienhughes/status/ They would still be seen as "animals" and "thugs"... Because shooting people over cartoons is much more acceptable around these parts than protesting for rights to live.
Yeah, nothing wrong with the KKK walking through black neighborhoods saying they are going to stop the black menace right? Nothing wrong with stoking the flames to burn hotter. Hate's a wonderful thing, as your kind is filled with so much of it.
The fact that the art event was an event for a known bigoted group doesn't excuse any violence against them or their art. They have freedom of expression. They should be allowed to express their art even though it is bigoted. It's just like if Klan members drew offensive black characters and had an art exhibit, it wouldn't justify violence from folks that disagree.
Freedom of speech also means freedom to be an *******. I don't normally quote Larry Flynt, but this quote is fitting.
Yeah, because an exhibition of Muhammad paintings in Texas is exactly the same thing as what you just made up. NOT. What would be comparable is if someone were to stage the same exhibition in Islamabad. Then perhaps you would have a point. But you don't.
I wonder what would happen if some muslims organize a cartoon drawing contests making fun of Jesus next door?
Is that why people here freely label and insult the entire Muslim community over the actions of a few fringe terrorists, while race hustlers like yourself scream and shout at anyone who even remotely criticizes a single black person?
