It's not only on Harden. We need good team defense, help the helper and the sort of things.

Looking at the way the Warriors defended the Grizzlies, I think the Rockets coaching staff need to do better.

The first game is always a small precursor on how this series is going to look

Right I agree that hamstring injuries can linger, but his hamstring is fine.

    He hit the game winner
He didn't lose any speed or quickness
    He's Chris Paul
Doc has a penchant for theatrics as well.
Remember when Paul Pierce went to the locker room in a wheelchair then came back the next quarter and wasn't hurt at all?

To think for 1 second that CP3 is really hurt is fool's gold.

If the Rockets lose tonight, it's probably not a good sign for this series. On the other hand, I wouldn't read too much into a Rockets win given that the Clippers are tired, banged up, and less prepared coming into the game(not to mention they're the road team).

BTW, ESPN is reporting that Jason Terry's hammy has been hurting as well. He's gonna play tonight, but that's the first I've heard of this injury resurfacing since he sat out a few games a couple months ago.

I hope it's nothing serious. Either way, I think Nick Johnson should get some significant playing time this series if Terry's hamstring is hampering him at all. Nick might be able to provide some much needed athleticism on the defensive end that could be critical.

This game will not mean much, game 2 and 3 will.

Nick Johnson needs to play about 15-20 minutes a night.

It'd be good if Nick took this opportunity in the Playoffs to prove himself like Troy Daniels did but I can't see him playing major minutes just yet.
Give him time. Maybe one day if he becomes a better facilitator and a leader in the team he can fill the young, two-way PG role we need.
