Nobody is Happy... Fans are hoping the loss of the MVP will put a chip on Harden's shoulder.

He should really thank his teammates for this one. If he wasn't on a stacked team no way in hell he wins it for the season he had.

Put yourself in Doc Rivers' shoes. Are you happy that the best player on the team you're about to face was just denied this honor? Are you happy that the only way this player can now get the respect he believes he has earned is to kick your team's ***?

    No, you are not.

So what is the defining criterial for MVP? I mean you take Stephen away and harden away, would the Warriors or rockets be more likely to weather the storm? Pretty sure the rox would have a hard time making the playoffs. Would the Warriors have an equally hard time ?

clear best player on the best team, they basically go down the standings from the top until they hit the first team whose best player was clearly superior to the rest

Never cared about the MVP. I will continue to not care.

The Robinson-Hakeem story satisfied me for life.

    Is he though?

The award is after the season...the complete season. I think the guy that wins Finals MVP is going to have a great chance at winning that award too.

The only MVP I care about is the Finals MVP, which will be Harden's. This team is going all the way this year. Golden State in a for a shock when they have to face the Rockets with a dominant Dwight.

I'm talking about the people who say Curry deserved it more. That's the sad part.
