Curry didn't deserve it. He's not the most valuable player in the NBA. He's a co-star on a very talented team. Without his teammates, he doesn't win the award.

Golden State's offense is designed to get Steph open looks. Houston's offense is predicated on Harden getting his team mates open looks while also having to attack the rim relentlessly and put points on the board when our guys can't throw it in the ocean.

Was Curry the most Vined, exciting player this season? Sure. Most valuable?. Nope.

Whatevs. We're in round 2 with a chance to get into the Conference Finals. I'll take this over an MVP/first round exit.

Would have loved to see the former Rocket's social media guys response to this.

Why do you troll so much? It's like you hate morey so much that it makes you dislike this team in some weird way.

Come on bro lets get along.

I'm fine with curry winning mvp but no reason to spit in Henry's of bbs membees

If James Harden had played in New York, perhaps he would be MVP.

Media just hate Houston Rockets. SMH.

Alright it sucks that Harden didnt get it but come on... Curry was on fire all year and he definitely deserved it as much as Harden. Im not even mad, but I hope Harden is and I hope we make to the WCF vs the Warriors. Will be very interesting

I think most of the backlash now is about morey. Even fans here have such distaste for him that it taints everything. Carl and jr are good examples of posters who are otherwise good but are so salty about morey that they struggle to enjoy this team and just live for the moments where they get to wag the finger

    C'mon Clutchfans

The way it ALWAYS works is that the award goes to the guy on the team with the better or best record.

    Period.

People should have anticipated this once the Warriors lapped the field in the standings

Knew the media was going to give it to their darling. I'm thinking it means more that Harden is more respected by his peers and former players. Most of them came out and said he should be MVP.

    Congratulations Steph Curry!

You are a truly deserving MVP. Even as a Rockets fan, I see no wrong in Curry being voted MVP. Harden was deserving too. Curry, just a tad more.

Now wait to be b**** slapped by Harden and the Rockets in the WCF

I don't know who JJ Watt is and FYI I have never heard of him. He is irrelevant in the sporting world.

What I do know is that James Harden is a very deserving MVP and the biggest asset and biggest name to Houston Sports since Hakeem the Dream Olajuwon.

I believe in James Harden to take the Rockets to the promised land.
