I do have to say there's some underlying racism against Manny. I had some old dude next to me getting really angry when they did the Philippines national anthem. And he kept talking about 'america' the whole time. it's not like it's the Iron Shiek vs Hulk Hogan here.
Castillo and Judah have probably been Mayweather's toughest opponents, but I think if he had fought Mosley in his prime he would have lost. I thought Thurman could possibly beat him, but his last performance was meh. Don't know who he fights next...
GGG is too big for floyd. floyd aint fighting him at 160 like some people are trying to promote and i'm not sure i want to see him weight drained at 154. i don't want to see him fight cotto again. he's not gonna fight khan in september because of radaman. danny garcia?
The amount of whining about this fight is unreal -- Floyd fights like he always does and Manny had his chance to solve the puzzle and was rewarded with about 40 straight right counters in the mug. Paq stopped coming in at Mayweather in his traditional style after eating about about 20 of those punches -- Paq was flustered and taken out of his game. I wanted to see more out of Manny, but he just isn't as good as Floyd.
This isn't real. I wanted Manny to kick his ass, but anyone could see that Floyd clearly won easily. Floyd did what he does, and Manny simply isn't the killer he used to be. It wasn't close. I love boxing, but wouldn't be very excited about a rematch.
Golovkin has said he'd take all comers from 154-168. I think with Andre Ward he'd want to wait to Ward is back in the publics concious before they make that fight, because down the line, i think thats a PPV fight, and one id definitely pay for
