I haven't watched much. But I did catch another game where he was closing and gave up the lead. I think it was against the Rangers in extra innings.
Tied for best start to a season in franchise history. Best record in first 23 games, tied with 1980 season.
Gregerson really should not have pitched. Especially with a 3 run lead. I know it's technically "close" situation, but 3 run in 9th in this day and age is like a 20 point lead with 2 minutes left.
Went out, had to catch on DVR. Good to see Gattis hitting, and Springer is now going deep with regularity. Also this bullpen, easily our biggest improvement, so reliable. Lastly did they seriously try a shift on Altuve? What the hell we're they thinking, that's like fish in a barrel for the best hitter in baseball.
This season is exhausting. I feel like my MLB Extra Innings subscription has paid for itself already. Every day I love the Marisnick trade more and more.
Gregorson has a career ERA of 2.75 and an players are hitting .214 against him. Aside from one outlier where opponents hit .266, he has never been worse than .221. He doesn't get hit very much.
Well gentlemen, tonight is the true test for the Astros. In the past 4 years I've been to 22 Astros game, and the Astros record in these games is 0-22. I've seen several games go into the 11th inning with the good guys falling short, and I've seen several blowouts including a 18 or 19 run game by Colorado that had most of MMP on the concourse watching the Texans on TV rather than the Stros. I've been to one Astros game this year, and that was Wojo's first start. I have yet to see an Astros hit live as they were no hit through eight innings and I had to leave before the 9th to be home in time for work. A streak is getting busted tonight! If we lose, just blame me lol.
