I don't know but the Patriots have been trading down for about 15 years it seems and apparently that's worked out.

My late night thoughts on first 2 days:

    #16 Kevin Johnson
    CB WF
I wanted Cam Erving so bad
    Or Landon Collins
If had to be CB would have taken J Collins LSU here
Bad value ... others much later like Darby PJWill AlexCarter same level

    #52 Benardrick McKinney
    ILB MSST
Love position but MUCH rather have Kendricks
Need speed and coverage to pair w Cush
Still not bad and should start yr1
Solid starter to replace Cush in yr or 2

    #70 Jaelen Strong
    WR ASU
LOVE THIS & called trade up 2nd yr in a row (Nix)
Perfect Dre replacement and GREAT value
Personal target of mine for awhile as trade down from #16
    Will be a STAR
    Ceiling - Alshon Jeffrey
    Floor - Michael Floyd

Overall these are exact 3 positions I wanted them to target top100
Taking Erving #16 would have made this perfect

    DAY3 Board Priority

    #1 - OLB
    Chickillo MIA
    Crawford CLEM
    Drew GEO

    #2 - C/G
    Matias/Jackson FSU
    Kouandijo ALA
    Douglas ASU

    #3 - FS
    Drummond MICH ST
    Jefferson UCLA
    Hackett/Carter TCU

    #4 - Slot WR
    Crowder DUKE
    Greene FSU
    Diggs MARY
    Goodley BAY

    My ideal Day3:
    4 - Crowder WR3
    5 - Chickillo SOLB
    6 - Drummond FS
    6 - Kouandijo OL
    7 - Mike Davis RB

I think Lance is trying to be a positive mouth piece for the Texans so he can eventually replace pancakes...I mean I don't really blame him, but I take what he says about Texans with a grain of salt these days.

Some slot receivers , Kick returners and two good RB's left, though I guess we shouldn't project lower than maybe 150
And Shipley is not on the list, I'd like to draft him rather than fight for in as a FA.

One, I don't think many people would call him a positive mouthpiece for the Texans considering his consistent takes on Rick smith needing to be fired and his using Russian propaganda skits to mock people who defend the Texans.

But let's assume he is mr positive Texan, you think he wants to leave his job as a star radio host in Houston that gets spots on national radio and TV for his nfl coverage as well as a paid gig writing for the nfl to be a regular columnist in a dying media format?

I reLly like derron smith. A lot of mocks had him in the second and third. I wonder if there is something wrong with him.

I'd b ecstatic to get him and I'd be willing to trade late picks next year to move up for him.

I say you take a chance on TJ Clemings and Jay Ajayi.

    Clemings will be a beast.

Also wouldn't mind Crowder, Holliman, Kwon Alexander, Hayes Pulliard, or a late gamble on Ekpre-Olomu.

As a rice owls fan I watched Christian Covington (DE) perform very well. He tore up the A&M line that included Jake Matthews in 2013. He would be a great 6th or 7th pick

we just need these guys to make through the season with only flesh wounds but no serious injuries.

Screw the Jags for taking Greene. Not that many selections for slot wr's now. McBride and the Baylor WR, that's it.
