I knew Posey was a bust.

But why do you feel Strong will be as well?

I like it so far. Can we get an OT now?

Plays slow, bad routes, the toughness at the point of the catch that people keep talking about with boldin comparisons rarely shows up.

It sounds like he has all the measurables but none of the nuances of route running, which is why his passes were always contested by the DB. Over time, perhaps he can improve on that area of his game.

And every scout says that you never see that speed on the field from him. He plays slow and hesitant.

Gil Brandt had Jaelen as the best available player for day 2.

McShay and Kiper both seem to think Strong was a steal in the 3rd. They thought he has 1st round/early 2nd round talent.

Looks like Obrien is gonna wait for Hakenberg next year so we need to get some O line help. Here's hoping we get lucky with our ufas

Was it Strong that had the foot injury?

He's not waiting. He's just not going to reach for a guy like Petty or Hundley. Going by preliminary 2016 mocks, the Texans may not be in position to draft a good 1st round QB next year either. Not unless they seriously regress this year.

No. Strong had a wrist injury but it's supposed to be fine.

You do understand that this guy is extremely raw, right?

He may not come in and take over this year but if we develop Jim correctly Ala DeAndre Hopkins, he can be just that, another DeAndre Hopkins. The basketball background is a definite plus.

I'm not sure what you've been watching but the physicality at point of attack definitely shows from what I've seen.

On the other hand Posey had nothing that distinguished him from any other middle of the pack receiver.

Everything considered, you can tell exactly what direction we're headed. All physical players with great length and/or size.

There's no way they will. Unless it's someone like Connor Cook. They may not need one, though. We don't know what Mallett can be.

They could always trade up. In all honesty I'm hoping Mallett is very good for a very long time but I think Obrien wants Hakenberg, the way they structured the qbs dictates that

The physicality shows in highlights of it, but if you watch tape of him you see it show up rarely.

His catch rate on targets is pretty bad. I mean sure he can develop, I'm just not excited and I'm super bummed that we didn't get Dorset or Lockett.

Texans should get Shane Wynn out of IU

I was hoping for fellow Hoosier Coleman as well, but Wynn is a very warranted pick. He is SO quick on the field. He'd be a great selection--he's everything Keyshawn Martin isn't. Fast, quick slot WR, can be ELECTRIC on returns...

    get it done Rick

He's not considered raw at all. He's projected as an instant starter by a lot of scouting reports i've read about him.
