Especially when you consider that Glen Davis looks like he might be out for a while. I'm rooting for the Clippers.

I can already picture it now:

If the Rox advance to WCF, it was because the Spurs/Clips were too tired

If the Rox lose, it was because they never had a chance

The narrative has been written, folks

I can live with this narrative: Rox win championship because Gasol and Rose got banged up

Form is cyclical. At the end of the regular season the Spurs were on a run at the peak of their form but now they're dipping into the valleys. It's the best time to catch them.

The Clippers are clearly more talented. But they are also dumber. So that makes the series so even.

Pop is out-coaching himself. Too much hacking throws his own team out of wack.

Anyway, don't be too happy about the team gets tired after a seven game series. Remember two years ago? The Spurs were well rested after sweeping in the WCF while the Heat played a hard fought 7-game series against the Pacers. Then the Heat beat them.

He out-coached himself in 2013, too. Flat out gave away a title to Lebron and Ray Allen, by benching Duncan when all he needed was rebounds.

That's one thing you can say about Phil Jackson...he never over-managed a Finals so horribly as Popovich did in 2013. Pops is doing it again.

Having rewatched the game....Kawhi really stunk it up in both sides of the court. I think it all starts in his offense for him...trying to force things and tiring himself making him slower on defense. Parker is just having a negative impact....no real penetration and to make matters worst his jump shots are not falling which compounds his slow penetration.

I think Clippers have a great chance in game 7 IF Spurs (especially Kawhi/Parker) dont adjust/improve and Pop still play them big minutes. Without the bench...who were fluid and playing theyre usual brand of bball...game 6 would not even have been close...

Clippers on the otherhand are so reliant on CP3 and Griffen. If any one of those 2 fail to fire....its over....but having home crowd behind them for g7....i just cant see them not playing well

If i was a betting man...i would pick Spurs...because they have been here many times before...but Clippers stars have been on fire this series while the Spurs stars have been inconsitant at best....its going to be an awesome g7....hope to triple overtime

i was really hoping for the spurs. but for me it is a toss up now. a rested harden and dwight against a game 7 39 year old duncan, and a injured parker/ginobli or a no bench clippers with now big baby davis out. it just seems like the rockets should be able to man handle them. we will see...

I still hope for a Clippers series since Spurs still have another gear they can go to....Cliooers on the otherhand are on there top gear but will be low on fuel against us

I'm more worried about our long layoff and coming off rusty. Nobody gets tired after only 1 round. That includes Old man river and co.

Rusty is one of the stupidest things in sports. Only dumb fans believe this crap. In MLB people dream for more rest for their starters. In the NFL, no one complains about not having to do a bye week. In Soccer, teams strive to clinch early so they can rest (and practice)

This only seems like a basketball thing to me that fans discuss

I'm sorry...this is a very dumb sports idea by fans and media who want to create some tangent discussion while waiting for the next round.

Give it up. Grow up. This is just a stupid theory that the media convinced you of. It does not actually exist.

Because Ray Allen hit a miracle three in game six.

After Pops made the very bad decision to sit down his best rebounder and HOFer, Duncan, to prevent that offensive rebound.

Who sits down the HOFer that brought you here? Only over-managing, dictators do. Pops lost that ring. Make no mistake. Ray Allen didn't take it away from him. Pops lost it that game and the next.

No different than saying Pops won a ring when it was actually Horry who nailed the critical shot to advance.

The curious thing is that it came to an end in part by their own doing. Gregg Popovich gave the order to foul DeAndre Jordan intentionally at the 7:35 mark of the second quarter, which started a stretch in which he split eight attempts (the last two occurred by mistake when Tim Duncan misread a hand signal from Popovich). The Clippers didn't cut into that lead during that period, but the fouling ended up hurting the Spurs in several ways, most noticeably in that it saddled Tony Parker (two) and Tim Duncan (one) with fouls instead of less important players. But it also interrupted the Spurs' offensive continuity at a time when they were in fine form and didn't have any clear reason to allow the Clippers to set their defense. Additionally, the Clippers hadn't score in more than two minutes at the time of the first intentional foul, so Popovich wasn't exactly throwing a clicking offense into chaos.

The move backfired even more at the 3:59 mark when Duncan picked up his third foul on a Jordan and-one, sending the Spurs big man to the bench for the entirety of the Clippers' half-closing 11-4 run (that included a much-needed three-pointer from Matt Barnes).

    Interesting...

Tremendous resiliency shown by Flop City tonight to beat their fellow floppers from SA. Somewhere our old friend Clippy is smiling.
