    I agree.

The Spurs aren't always honed, while there are defenses that can bother those beautiful passes.

I think we got some of the Clippers demon curse off us this season by beating twice, including in LA. I'd still probably prefer the Spurs though.

Is the NBA really not going to change the time?

The disadvantage of motion offenses is what Pops was mentioning after the game. Defenses can dictate the passes. And when the ball starts sticking...it collapses.

I'd also like to dispel the popular belief that Pops used this motion offense for all 5 titles. He didn't. He turned to it when he needed to stop using the Duncan and Parker so much...and Ginobody. He had very structured plays that he'd shoved down your throat before, more like Sloan/Utah. It was an attack offense, not a read/react offense. He only recently switched to pure motion.

Whoever wins game 7 of this series will immediately play @Rockets, with only 1-day rest, and for 6 straight games!

    Brutal! And I like it!

If you're a Rockets fan, you need to root for the Spurs in game 7. Rockets have no chance against the Clippers.

Just perfect! The outcome I wanted. Now they are going to seven while the Rockets rest.

I don't know why people keep saying that. We were 2-2 against the Clippers this season and 1-3 against the Spurs. And that lone win over San Antonio was during the Rockets' 6-0 start in a game where Pop rested half the team.

And if that wasn't enough, Dwight played in every single game against the Spurs. He played in ZERO games vs the Clippers. So we could theoretically play even better against LA with Playoff Dwight at our disposal. There's likely not much improvement to be had against the Spurs.

Am I right in that the 2 times we lost to the Clippers were pre-Smoove/Brew? and the 2 times we won were after

Looking at the Clippers bench makes it hard not to want to play them. Especially considering the starters wouldn't have gotten 2 or more days off since the beginning of the first round.

That was not why the Rockets lost their most recent game at San Antonio. That was just a straight up asswhooping.

im rooting for the Clippers to win....my opinion, our best shot for WCF is through the clippers....

Clippers now even have a thinner bench coming from a 7 series win over spurs (if they win) where the starters have played heavy minutes with not much rest? Sounds like a great offer, you have a deal

We didn't have Howard also, we are a different team now. Spurs are much more.consistent amd they are the defending champion.

That is correct. I don't get this fear of the Clips. They haven't beaten us with Brewer and Smoove. And we are even playing better now that we have playoff Howard.

That said, SAS can't deal with Playoff Howard, either.

The Rockets lost the first game to LA at home early in the season before they acquired Brewer and Smith. They were also without Dwight, T-Jones, and Bev that night. Plus Canaan sprained his ankle in that game. Meanwhile, the Clippers were at full strength. To say you can't read too much into that loss is an understatement.

Now the second loss was at LA right before the All-Star Break and that one was a different story. While Dwight and T-Jones were still out, the Rockets had everyone else available that night(aside from Pepperoni who was a few days away from being acquired). Plus Griffin was out for the Clippers. They were within a point heading into the 4th, but LA straight up beat them that night.

But I think Dwight not playing in all 4 of the meetings this season has to be factored in by the naysayers who think we can't beat the Clippers in a 7-game series. Considering we were 2-2 without him, I don't see how you can claim the Rockets don't have a shot against them with him available and playing really well.
