http://kfwbam.com/2015/04/30/kobe-picks-harden-for-mvp/ Bryant explained to Yo, “That is a tough call, you have James [Harden] who has been playing consistent all through the season. Steph [Curry], who has been doing phenomenal things. That is a tough call for me but I would have to say James [Harden].” It seems like modern players and retired vets are on the Harden train
Only because Harden drinks body armor. Kobe doesn't get a media vote. Even though Kobe is right it doesn't matter. Media has gifted Curry already.
It's actually pretty funny how many NBA players have openly endorsed James Harden for MVP. The fans of other teams may think he's a flopping piece of ****, but its clear NBA players respect him. Meanwhile how many endorsements from his colleagues does fan favorite Curry have? I'm wondering if this is like a Lin thing and other players are getting tired of the media love for Curry; painting a target on him.
I think players realize how stacked the Warriors are this year. GSW is a playoffs team regardless of whether or not Curry is on it. The Rockets however, every team has seen how big a hit the Rockets take when Harden sits. They also see how many players have gone down for us and yet some how, some way, Harden continued to will us to victory game after game, all the way to the number 2 seed in the Wild Wild West and the winner of the Southbest Division.
It's definitely not a body armor thing so stop with the whole Kobe is just saying this because of body armor.
Before the '80-'81 season, the players voted on their league MVP. Can we go back to that? The players know. We'd have NFL and NBA MVPs from Houston no question if we did that in all pro sports.
I thought you meant "Lin thing" as in "He looks like me!" I do think the identities of the two guys play into it for the public (which includes media).
I disagree with who you are as a person kobe, but I'll defend to the death your right to say who should be MVP.
