Thank God there is only one T-Mac. I don't know if I could ever stomach another one.

He wasn't the sole reason for the 22 games win streak and he didn't even play in all of it. The wonderful 22 game win streak didn't get us out of the first round either. Bye bye t mac hello James harden.

Tinman has led the Rockets to the second round of the playoffs as many times as Tmac

    you should get some perspectives

There's no point arguing with McGrady fans. Those states don't show how inefficient he was. Low FG% etc. he was stealing shots from players with better percentages. Its why Westbrook has always been the best defense against Durant.

James Harden has single handedly destroyed the hearts of mcgrady fans and lin fans.

He has proven he's way above them in basketball leadership and winning.

He just walked on them like they were dirt on the road

Tracy was good during the JVG era.

I respect him for the times that only HE knows he played his heart out for us. As fans, we expect players to do this every time, but we'll never know whether not not they left it all on the floor. It's subjective. We always hope our Rockets play at the highest level, but I think it's somewhat unfair to conclude that a player did not try. There's no way of proving "desire," beyond looking at statistics.

He's not my favorite player by any means but respect is due where respect is due.

Shoot, I have a ton of respect for what David Wesley did for us. He didn't have nearly the talent of TMac, was very undersized and had the lowest vertical for a guard that I've seen in years. But, I respect him, like other Rockets, because he attempted, or appeared, to help us win games in a variety of ways.

I can't prove that. Again, it's all subjective.

It's part of being a die hard fan. You respect your current and former players.

....unless their name is Scottie Pippen. :p:p

Only former Rockets I respect less than T-Mac are Barkley, Pippen, and Fisher.

    Fisher was never a Rocket.

If he never played a game for us, I don't count him

I don't consider him a Rocket personally either, but technically he was on our roster no matter how brief. Either way, I hate him.

I prefer Harden over Tmac but the criticism of him not getting out of the first round is unfair. He never had a team as talented as the one we have now unless you count 2008/2009 when he got hurt. He also went up against a Maverick team in 05 that went deep in the playoffs that year and the next year went to the finals. He lost twice to a Jazz team that consistently went deep into western conference finals or Semis. He never got a chance to play a 7th seeded team like the Mavericks were this year.

It's not just on the Rockets. T-Mac has never lead a team past the first round, no matter which team it was. When that sort of lack of success follows you around, it becomes a trend.

I don't respect Chuck, because of his lack of respect for us. As long as he hates on the Rockets, I will hate on him.
