Wes Matthews happened, but actually Portland was more than beatable last year.

Also Portions D sucked big time. Yup, TJones was not ready.

Yeah, I really believe that if we had gotten a Game 7 in Houston, we would have won that series.

Anyway, I'll pick Memphis upsetting Golden State.

    On LMA:

    Shaq: Dallas
Kenny: Money today is different. Staying with your team is a 20-25 million difference. We will count on our hands the guys who leave their teams in the next [couple of years].
Charles: He should stay. He's a very good player. If he goes to NY or LA, people are expecting superstar player. He's a good player. Some guys, when you go to another team, especially major market, teams expect you to be LeBron, Kevin Durant or Anthony Davis.

    Lillard
    McCollum
    Batum, Crabbe

    Leonard, Kaman

That's Portland's locked in roster for next season. They're going to have to choose between Afflalo & Matthews but even then both are UFAs.

Just noticed that came out to be a little sexist, not what I meant. Just why would you be happy when your team is getting bounced.

Oh I was studying for a midterm and didn't have time to look up that info. Explains a lot.

Hopefully LMA understands that he won't win anything in Portland and joins the Rockets. Also we can stick it to Cuban once again.

Because the Rockets choked away a bunch of games in that series. They had a 10-point lead with just a few minutes left in Game 1 and p-ssed it away in just a single minute when Dwight had to be pulled because he couldn't make a single free throw. They nearly choked away a big 4th quarter lead in Game 3 before Daniels saved them in OT. They choked away Game 4 when Lin turned the ball over with the Rockets up 2 and just over 30 seconds left. And then there was the infamous buzzer beater in Game 6 where they left Lillard wide open.

They just did a horrible job executing late in games. But in retrospect, I guess we should be thankful things played out the way they did. Otherwise we would've probably overpaid to retain Parsons, and not prioritized defense or bolstering the bench with guys like Brewer and Smith.

Also that they were just different teams last year.

Rockets last year had a wild PG that had key TOs, one that lost us a game in the clutch.

Also featured Parsons who played no defense and allowed Batum to look a lot better than he actually is.

Also the Blazers had their 2nd best player Wes

Parsons, Lin, Asik turned into Ariza, Smith, Brewer and Capela.
