    Did anyone else see the look McHale gave Barea in the greeting line as the game time expired? Ha ha, now, that is respect.

    I love McHale's disposition, he's done a great job this season so far.

    i was calling for him to be fired after last year's collapse... i felt that way all off-season... and i still think i was right, there were better coaches available.

    i get that they wanted to use him as a recruiting tool, but after striking out i was shocked with the extension. knowing les never fired a coach (but waited for the contract to expire) i came to accept that he'll be here for 3 more years.

    i think at this point its fair to say that he's leveled up as a coach. we knew he had player management and development as strengths, and game plan and adjustments as weaknesses. what we saw in the first round was not a complete 0 in the game plan and adjustments. he found something that worked and stuck with it all series. switching on all screens worked, the 4-5 PnR worked really well (and probably should've been used more).

    i will whole heartedly congratulate him and the staff for their growth. while i thought they were a negative last season, i think they were above average this year. since we have them for 2 more years, i hope for this kind of improvement again next year and the year after!
