That is because you entered 'dangerous territory' with what you post.....

You became obsessed with TJones threads for a reason we all do not know and it happened that 99% of those posts are negative.

Obsession is like the second characteristics for posters like Tinman, DD in the past......yet as you realized those are veteran posters who have better connections around here (join date)

It is the territory you do not want to enter......believe me.

So for our sakes and your own, stop most of your Jones discussions and move to greener 'thread' pastures.

Or continue your ways and you are 'to be known as a HATER'. Simple.

He has terrible defensive awareness. And old man Dirk is guarding him there's no reason why he can't be dominating him. He is a better offensive player than Josh Smith.

I'm not obsessed with Terrence. Just want team success. Terrence happens to be a flashpoint of that success.

I talk basketball man. The obsessors are those that start threads everytime Terrence throws up a double double against Sacramento and Minnesota.

The NBA is about young bucks and veterans....
Terrence just happened to be a normal player and starter for the Rockets.

Rox new players are Capela, Johnson and so on.....lots to talk about

Those and this year's draftees are the future.

Added too much bulk and isn't the same. I sensed that as well

Now wait a minute. During the regular season guys were raving about how improved he was because he had put on muscle.

Now he's playing poorly and it's because he added too much bulk.

Here's the reality. Doesn't matter. He's playing the exact same way he did last year. When healthy, during the regular season, he could dominate against smaller bigs on lower echelon teams and get some numbers from all teams over committing to Dwight and Harden. Now this season in the playoffs, he's playing the same to a little bit worse because the league knows even more about him and his hesitancy to shoot the basketball.

The bulk has neither made him strong enough to contend better against better bigs. Neither has it made him a better shooter in space. Neither has it made him a worse finisher. Look at his numbers. They're the same. The difference is Dallas is not allowing Terrence to get off those finishes as easily. They're shutting him down 4 feet from the rim and forcing him to get rid of it or try to knock it in from there.

Reality is Jones has a skills issue that hasn't changed. He can't shoot a basketball efficiently. Until he becomes an efficient shooter, he's going to be very limited in the playoffs. Added muscle neither helps nor hinders that issue.

Jones doesn't communicate on defence... at all. He went from guarding Chandler to Nowitzki without saying a word nor being told by Howard who was behind him. That led to wide open baseline cut dunk for Chandler.

He played poorly the whole series. A couple good plays offsets a couple bad plays. Doesn't offset 4 games worth of mediocre to poor play.

He's a good enough player to have a few positive to sensational moments. Glad they came when they did.
