Would they even know about it? It's a little funny that Stannis just disappeared from the scene around King's Landing and they act like he never existed. But, they wouldn't know where he's gone unless someone sends a message. Stannis obviously won't tell them, the Night's Watch has no incentive to say anything, and who else would know? It doesn't seem like Roose Bolton knows, and he's closer to the wall than most of the lords.
Do they not check their twitter feed? Serious answer: They'd have very little change of knowing. The wildlings ravaged the small settlement just south of Castle Black. There weren't any citizens to spread word quickly about that Battle. The crows don't get to home and tell war stories. Think how slowly news spread in THIS world only 60 years ago.
I don't think Littlefinger is working WITH Sansa. He's just using her. God help her now, with the sadist. I can already see this plot developing.
Every time I see Iwan Rheon I still think of Misfits. He's done well as disturbed Ramsay though. Here's to hoping Sansa kills all the Boltons.
I'm loving this season. The littlefinger marrying Sansa off twist is crazy and I can't wait to see how it plays out.
It seems that Sansa may see that the people of the North will be far more loyal to HER than to the Boltons, and so she may have it within her grasp to take back her home AND manage to curb-stomp the Boltons, once she is in a seat of power. Heck, that maid already alluded to it when she showed her to her room. The wild card here is Theon - does Sansa even KNOW about Theon's aggression toward Winterfell, and his alleged murder of her two younger brothers?
It seems like the entire world knows that Bolton betrayed Robb and stabbed him personally, which seems shocking to me, so I think it's safe to assume that everyone knows that Theon betrayed the North considering the Iron Islands attacked the North and captured multiple forts INCLUDING Winterfell. They were also blamed for the sacking of Winterfell at the end of that season. "The North Remembers" was a good moment. I hope that becomes a "remember the Alamo" type rallying cry before this show ends.
Did anyone else notice the camera panning over to some chick that looked pissed to see Sansa arriving at the castle? Any idea who she is?
It's the chick Ramsay has been screwing around with, who helped him track down and feed the other chick to the dogs. She's in love with Ramsay, so it would seem.
I don't care how it gets done, but I'd love to see all the Boltons slaughtered - especially Ramsay. I hope he gets flayed alive. Also, maybe this has been discussed, but no Bran Stark yet? Did they drop his story or something?
I wanna know where the **** Gendry is. It's going on 2 seasons of him rowing on a boat. He should have hit land somewhere by now.
Reek lived with the Starks - he was in their court....given and raised by Ned Stark....Sansa knows him well, he is probably freaked out at what he has become...maybe this gives him his nuts back? DD
remember, Sansa believes Bran/Rickon are dead and that Theon had them killed (when in reality Theon lost them but found 2 children to kill in their place)
