    His defense is pretty bad.

He is out of shape by about 15-20 pounds. Everything he does is slow like he sipped on syzurp before the game. Delayed reactions, slow to loose balls, no quickness in his first step, not much spring in his elevation, no urgency when helping the weak side, thinking too long on open shots. He kind of moves like a slightly more athletic Boris Diaw. He has the tools and skill set to be so much better and make a difference if he really wanted to. Instead he just kind of "blends in".

His defense has really improved and I love that he has that fire that powers his motor throughout the game now.

Post it. If I was wrong, I'll admit it and you can enjoy the moment. If you don't post it, then you're making up bologna and I'll call you out on it, silly man. And the white lightning thing was a joke. Laugh and don't take it so seriously.

I can't believe you think I think he was boosting player value by talking up a player dishonestly to you. What I said was, Morey is simply doing his job, trying to maximize asset value. He's going to point to all his positive data on Terrence. He IS NOT going to go through all his negative data on Terrence. Any decent GM is going to show the public the pretty picture. I can't believe you don't understand that concept. that is perhaps your wackiest moment ever.

Ummmmm, no. He's a fan. I'm sure he loves all his players. And he's also a highly intelligent man. He's sure not going to talk down about any of his players to his kids. I'd be surprised if he talked down about any player in the NBA to his kids. He's much too wise for that.

And your point is? Remember, McHale has been running Capela out there. Don't be surprised if he limits Capela tonight in favor of giving Jones a few more minutes in hopes of getting Jones going somewhat with the SECOND TEAM. Because Jones sure ain't getting it rolling with the first team. And also McHale's probably going to try to slide Jones back in there if Dallas goes back to hacking Dwight/Smith. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if McHale has decided to go super small and run Jones out there at center and try to run Dallas out if they start the hacking think on Smith and Dwight. Just hope it doesn't backfire and Jones start clanking or Dallas gets on a roll offensively.

The point of this thread is to discuss Terrence. Not discuss me and McHale. I have my opinion on Terrence. It is possibly influenced a little bit by things that McHale says. But those things have to be taken in context. And McHale saying he should have played Jones more has more to do with what I just wrote than with the fact that he is playing good or he is playing better than Dwight, Smoove, and Capela. He isn't. But he's probably the best option against the hacking strategy. And McHale probably sees an opportunity to get Jones rolling with the second unit more.

No, I'm not. I did not say one word about Terrence until after the 4th game. Nothing after games 1, 2, or 3. I did run 3 or 4 smart-alec comments in the game thread of game 3 or 4 (can't remember which) just as a heads up that it was coming and to try to get a laugh out of a few people. I hardly ever read the game thread and I suspect most quality posters don't have time nor are they interested in reading the game thread comments during the game. I consider it kind of a trash thread for newbies and kids. And I happened to have the thread open as I was watching the game at my office. But other than that, nothing. Nothing after games 1, 2, and 3. LOL. Peace Bro. Keep it rolling.

I figured I could rouse you with the second best player bit. :)

    Textbook definition of a troll.

I said when I asked the question I'd tell you if you were right or wrong but not answer it if you were wrong. I told you I'm not sharing inside info here.

But your post was idiotic. Daryl talks down a lot of his players to me when they're not playing well. Often I believe a player looks great and Daryl tells me how disappointed he is in that player's game and then tells me why.

This idea that he doesn't get down on players is proof positive you are at least several degrees removed from Daryl and don't know him at all. He is very hard on the team because he wants them to play better and he is desperate to win.

I'm not giving you more than that, troll. You're a pretender. And you don't know the first thing about Daryl Morey beyond what you put together by reading media coverage.

That question and answer weren't insider info. Morey made those comments to multiple people. Here's those posts Batman.

I see you changed your last post too. But no worries. I understand and am still aware of the Lymme disease issue. Hope you are doing ok.

Opinion. And you're welcome to it.

Yeah, he'll make a comment if he's disappointed in Dwight's rebounding or effort, etc. But those are temporary things, short term things. A bad game or a bad shooting cycle, or bad effort, etc. And yes, I have had those things reported to me said by him and McHale (mostly McHale though).

But Morey is not going to give you negative player evaluation on a guy on a rookie contract and tell you why a young player isn't going to be a great player. He may say what a young player needs to work on. Most everybody knows those things anyways. But he's not going to say young player x isn't going to be a very good player for very long in the NBA if he's on the Rockets. He's not going to risk to you or anybody else revealing his truest compass feelings on young players and their development curve and their future even though he has enough data to know what they are most likely going to evolve to.

Wrong again. Are you ever right? Since I actually have inside info and you obviously don't im going to go ahead and decide what qualifies and what I'm willing to share. My insider credentials are a matter of public record. Who do you know? That's right: nobody.

My only gripe with a jones is him loafing back down the court on defense. He needs to do a better job of getting back.

I honestly doubt whether or not you actually root for our team. Seems to me it's more important to you to be seen as a big shot than our team winning. Here's a news flash: you aren't ever going to be taken seriously by the fans here. In case you hadn't noticed you've become a bit of a punchline.

Terrence hasn't really played much. He definitely should have played more than smith last game. I remember him playing well early in the game when we got our big lead. Weird by Mchale to bench him for no reason.

It was public knowledge to anybody who wanted to know that Morey was promoting Terrence as the third best player on the team Batman. I told you so then. He told Tad and he told it to McHale and many others. It wasn't a secret. Else how would I know since I'm not an insider?

There is just so much wrong with T Jones honestly....while i love him as a player he's just not "there" and IMO won't ever be "there". Dmo is 5 times the player T jones is no doubt..... better rebounder ,better defender, better post player ,better 3 pt shooter

    1. Never Reacts to the defense, meaning his court awareness is absolutely HORRENDOUS it shows in EVERY game...

    2. No Confidence in his outside shot, therefore opposition won't even step up to guard him knowing he probably won't shoot it , let alone make it

    3. Defensively effort is there, but if your not strong enough you have to have other ways to defend , and with his athleticism aim just baffled he doesn't have good positing, doesn't force his opponent to his weaker side just clueless in general.

    4. Boxing out is also very very bad. his rebounding should be much better, yet i feel ariza is a better rebounder, i mean come on when you have that kind of athletic ability, your supposed to help a lot more throughout out the game...I never look at scoring i just want our PF to DO THE OTHER THINGS ... Rebound, if u do rebound(rare occasion) kick it out instead of going up stupidly against 7 footers, work on your 3 for spacing...etc

Its safe to say i want us to trade him this summer + our pick + whoever for whatever lol...

LETSSS FINISHHHHH THESE NOISYY AND IDIOTIC NEIGHBORS TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! H-Town we gotta make some serious noise tonight

How the hell are you gonna break down TJ, whose been hurt for a great part of the year? Whose finally getting his groove back and getting in to the chemistry of the team? Then try to hype us up?
