It may be a fast hour because of all the different storylines... Starting off kind of slow this season IMO.

I think the tension in the realm is relatively low for the moment while everyone is kind of reshuffling alliances and plotting strategy. But I don't expect it to be much longer before carnage returns.

Read my initial post again. And nice to see you have to drag it up out of nowhere and are still mad after the weeks that have passed, don't know if you have a deeper-lying frustration problem in your life.

Man those leak really ruin the traffic/discussion this year. The first 3 episodes have been lackluster compared to past years so that might have to do something with it also. I think Tyrion getting captured will speed up the plot.

Have we seen a fight this year yet?

I actually thought last nights episode was very strong but yeah I think the leak has hurt discussion as well.

Seems season 5 is like season 1 and the beginning of season 2. It's setting up the events that will define this and the next couple/few seasons.

I don't think it's been slow at all, episode 4 is probably a bit more to your liking.

I like the slow buildup, because the payoff will kick @$$.

    This.

The north is on a major collision course and I think it's going to be epic. Feel bad for Sansa but I think Littlefinger and Sansa are going to destroy from within. I love the "who can the most subtle b*tch" contest between Margaery and Cersei. Everyone is putting Cersei in her place this season and it is awesome to see!

I don't think it's slow at all. These kind of episodes make up like 90% of the series.

Even with the leaks it's been slow but good.

Yeah except I can see Cersei working, she sees an opportunity with the Sparrows to cause major problems for Margaery.. probably have her accused of being a heretic or something.

Methinks Cersei's ex-fiance's sexual preference is about to be front and center. They already foreshadowed earlier on.

Ohh I thought you were talking about Renly. Maybe Cersei will use that too. "Margaery cohorts with homosexuals!"

Question, why has there been no mention in King's Landing of the battle at the wall? Wouldn't it be cause for concern and important to know what Stannis' is up to? Am I missing something?

Each episode already has too much going on, jumping from one plot to another. I think if a plot point involving the Lannisters and Stannis would bring little to the table as far as the story and make things a little more confusing. It has already been mentioned that the Lannisters have never brought an army that far north ... and they shouldn't expect it now.

The Wall is a long way from Kings Landing, and the North is a huge buffer area. As Roose Bolton mentioned the Lannisters really wouldn't be too concerned this early.

Plus the alliance of House Tyrell and House Lannister would make them largely untouchable by any individual army.
