Holy crap, that's exactly what I was thinking when I saw that, and then saw him get up and look at/shake his hand...."don't be hurt, don't be hurt, don't be hurt".

Although it would get Correa called up.

I've never been so happy to stay up past midnight on a weekday. This team is on an incredible run!

I'm also liking all the activity in here lately.

I hate to keep saying it is too early but the best sign of a good team? Timely hitting. And this team just keeps doing that.

Gattis... Your luck will turn. He is putting a hurt on the ball when there is contact.

Our late inning hitting has been fantastic thus far.

He hit that ball the opposite way just about as hard as it's humanly possible to hit a ball the opposite way.

Yeah, he absolutely smoked that ball. It seems he is seeing the ball much better now. I can totally live with that at bat.

Now Hinch, please don't put Thatcher in this game.

Lol, not sure if sarcastic but that was a pretty well hit ball. I'm happy that he's done for the day.

hate to pick nits, but this kinda stuff is over-managing, imo.

don't understand the harm in letting him pitch till he lets one reach safely.

Maybe he just doesn't trust him to face the side and doesn't want to hurt his feels by not playing him

I usually agree, but Qualls had not had much work recently. May have just been to get him out there.

then just pitch qualls the entire inning.

just an unnecessary situation to burn a pitcher.
