Seriously someone please forward this to the Rockets. I'd love nothing more than to see this kid get into trouble for mouthing off like that.
Normally yes, but not when something is said with "actual malice." Usually you can say whatever you want about a public figure and it's nearly impossible to win a defamation lawsuit if you're a public figure. But calling someone a pedophile on the internet with absolutely no proof and reckless disregard for its veracity is most certainly actual malice. Anyways, it's not like this little **** is going to get sued. First of all there is nothing to be gained financially. I just wanted to see that kid sweat a little and/or have to issue an apology on his youtube channel.
Study a little harder then. Making a blanket statement on your exam that public figures can never win a defamation lawsuit will certainly net you zero points. I definitely don't miss law school exams. What a pain. Good luck on your exams.
Sounded like an insult at first but ended with a compliment. Thanks? Lol. I will admit that we haven't covered the First Amendment too heavily since our professor teaches a separate course that specializes in that specifically. This final is over state action/equal protection claims for suspect classes and such. Oh, and go Rockets!
Haha, always funny when a man insults another man behind the shield of the internet and as a bonus...A MASK! Yeah, say that to Dwight's face.
Also prove it wasn't done satirically, since this guy is clearly a joke. There are a ton of defenses for his speech.
I'm just saying nothing is cut and dry. Anyways, I just want to see that twirp have to issue an apology.
He's just protecting himself, all he's really doing is just talking smack, it's entertaining and harmless. Unfortunately the internet is full of weirdos if he didnt wear a mask some lunatic might track him down and break his spinal cord or something.
Dont really watch this guy's videos, but the Mavs in 7 is a total possibility. The rockets have a penchant of taking their feet off of the mav's necks, and the NBA has a history of supporting Dallas over Houston. Doesn't look good for the Rox.
