Serious question. I've been wanting to get into bicycling. What type of bicycle should I get if I plan to use it on paved roads or park trails (asphalt/dirt)? Brands? Frame material? What type of features should I look for?

 

had my bike stolen last week and now I understand why they used to hang horse thieves.

I am not a cyclist but I used to take my dog to Memorial Park and they have some pretty cool biking trails south of the baseball fields.

 

It needs to be at least 3x the size.
