Agreed. They fought back . . . and in the 4th they could have taken this game but .. . they still gave up rebound after rebound . .. dallas did not fold The Rockets have to realize this is an Experienced team not one like N.O. Great Quote Rocket River
The harsh Reality is that athletes don't grow and learn that quick, this loss just shows that the rockets as a team collectively are not mentally tough enough to overcome a poor quarter of performance, which will surely happen along the way to the finals, which means their chances of getting into the finals are lowered by this, so the only thing i take away from that game is that we are just not good enough, face it, no excuses or anything, Bball is just a game, and if you are better at it than your opponent, you will win, otherwise you lose
Agree with the OP. If we're going to get blown out, I'd much rather it happen on the road being up 3-0 than game 1 against SA/LA. Should help ground our players and not let them get too high. Let's see how this team responds Tuesday.
The harsh reality is that this is a foolish comment. 9 of the last 10 championship teams lost a game by 19+ points on their way to the title. Dallas beat the Spurs by 21 last season in San Antonio. One games just doesn't matter. The time to worry is if the Rockets lose game 5.
And then people will look for positives in a game 5 loss. Before you know it with the Houston Curse active and well some of you Nelson Flanders half cup full guys will be shaking your fists in the air saying we'll get em next year.
