    Two reasons it matters. First, you never know what can happen in a game. Look at the Cavs today. They lost Love for at least a couple weeks and JR Smith to a likely lengthy suspension. So the fewer games you have to play, the better.

    Second, while the Rockets should close out the Mavs in Game 5, there's a ton of pressure on the team to win that one. If they come out flat and p-ss that game away, then suddenly we could be looking at a Game 7 which would be a terrifying prospect.
