Im sure this is fun for a lot of people, but for those of us that have stuck with them through the past years.....this is awesome!

 

Yes, I said they suck....and that also means that the Astros suck. And baseball sucks.

 

Gonna be fun to watch how long the mainstream media tries to avoid talking about the First Place Freakin Stros!

 

I may not post on here very often, but I read this every day. I'm so fired up right now. This team is fun and I hope it stays this way.

 

I'll bet they get some national buzz after this.

And this forum is starting to get beefier. Only a matter of time before it's Garmier.

 

Best offense I've ever seen in Houston was the '98 crew, you had the proper balance of all of the above - Bagwell, Biggio, Bell, Carl - mixed in with guys like Spiers, Berry, Gutierrez, Alou (possibly my favorite hitter to watch in a long time, if not ever)....and later you had a Carlos Lee type. A lineup like they have now is too prone to feast and/or famine.

I'm not really complaining, I'm absolutely not unimpressed with how good the team looks so far, I'm just saying that it's a work in progress and in the future I'm looking forward to seeing guys like (hopefully) Correa/Moran/Kemp/etc... completing the lineup. Then we can talk making a serious run at something special.

Yea that's cool and I get it....but that isn't who this team is, that isn't the way it is built....so if we want this team to be that way, I'm just saying prepare to be disappointed cause that ain't who they are

If we just want them to win though, I think they can dang sure do that

We are 11-7 and still only have a couple of hitters doing what they are capable of

 

Post more! This team is crazy fun! Stros fans deserve it, it's been a while.
