Because white + black skin mixed together makes you look brown. Your complexion is closer to that of a black person than that of a white person. There are quite a few light-skinned full black people that have skin just as dark as Obama.

I don't think it is anything more than that.

Half Chinese Half White your skin color barely changes. Half Arab Half Black your skin pigment barely changes.

also, there are people like Blake Griffin who have whiter skin than most Asians, he's considered black for some reason.

 

Basketball is pretty bad when it comes to race. White players are stereotyped and Griffin, being insanely athletic, does not fall into that stereotype so therefore he is considered black. Also I guess his hair does not resemble a Caucasians hair.

Look at Wentworth Miller and Rashida Jones. They are not "black" actors, because they look white more than they look black.

Agree, he's a complete idiot. He still questions why Riley Cooper is still on the Eagles while McCoy, Jackson, and Maclin are not. Like they're related somehow. When asked "what are you insinuating?", he'll just give the ole, "nothing! I'm just sayin'...". It's the same thing with this Brady WH thing. It's pretty clear why Bayless wanted SAS on his show full time - he'll never call Bayless out on his BS because they're friends, and he's as clueless as Bayless is on most topics, so they both look smarter when "arguing".

 

I'm partially concurring with the argument he made about the term biracial. I imagine more than enough people rebutted those posts in their respective threads, so I don't have to at the expense of appraising hi current argument's logic.

Bringing up the half black, half asian is not considered black as a half black, half white is. What about Tiger Woods? Isnt he considered black? I don't think he is referred to as an Asian athelete very often.

 

This is Deckard's logic. His logic is built upon racist "one-drop" Jim Crow definitions from times past. Biracial is a more inclusive term.

Blacks in this country have white blood in them. They are not the same as African. They are all pretty much bi-racial.

Calling Obama bi-racial as a means to diminish him as the first "black" president is definitely playing a game on race and probably indicates you have a strong racial bias against blacks.
