With the Mavs head coach whining about the officials and embarrassing his franchise in the process, in my opinion, I think the game could be called tight. You could certainly be right. One would think that Rick Carlisle's sad tirade would net them something, but you never know. The officials could end up simply calling the game the same way. It's the playoffs. I seriously doubt that they appreciate being called out by Carlisle. In my opinion, it would take a call by Silver to result in a radical change in how the game is called. Did he make that call? Maybe, maybe no. We'll find out a million hours from now. 8:30 just can't get here soon enough.

As an aside, I was shocked at Howard playing 38 minutes. Yes, we needed him, badly, but what happened to the minutes restriction? Those were the kind of minutes Howard would have played if he didn't have a restriction. Sure, we needed every minute, but still - hope the big fella is OK.

 

Time to put them down. No need to let them struggle to live.

 

Is harden wearing Adidas?!

 

Just wanted to make sure everyone knows the game was moved up from 8:30 to 8:00, since the game thread info still shows the original time.

Collins is praising Harden and Curry saying the cream has risen to the top and that Harden has given Houston exactly what it has needed as Dallas has played him differently from game to game, we have a "fan" of his own team predicting his failure.

You right. But this team is playing a whole different level in the playoffs. Dont you agree? What about the west was so tough? That anybody can go down? Thats what has me agitated. Ive always said this team is too talented just plays dumb sometimes

 

Prope for Harden but lets not undermine the supporting cast. Howard has risen more ihmo.

 

Let's finish them off. Never take anything for granted. Sure, no team has ever come back from down 3-0... but that doesn't mean it's not possible. Don't take your foot off their throats. We are clearly the better team and we're up 3-0 for a reason, but we can't lose our focus or else this series could be 3-2 just like that. Sweep them.

We need to play better D. I don't expect Dirk/Monta to put up 68, but we did give up another 60 points to players other than those 2. We played really bad D in Game 3, we can't repeat that in Game 4.

Hopefully Harden drops 35+, Dwight pushes 20/20, the crew does their job, and we advance. Let's go Rockets!

 

We want to get Dwight and James as much rest as possible. Play strong and finish Dallas tonight boys! Defense will be key tonight

 

Who cares who has risen more? And no one is undermining anyone but you undermining Harden.

It's hard for Dwight not to rise more since he was an injured shell of himself all season. Now healthy he is beasting like he should. Harden as well has been even better than his MVP caliber season so far this series. Our supporting cast and coach have all stepped up.

But you are here to crap on Harden.

 

It seems like the Rockets are playing much less ISO ball right now.

Kevin Love just dislocated his shoulder in a meaningless game 4. This is exactly why we need to end this series TONIGHT

 

I think its a big reason why the shooting has been better.

Looks have been better, the players are more engaged, and Harden is getting better looks because of it.

This team hit a button the other night after the second quarter. They STOPPED shooting so many long jumpers and attacked.

Morey's philosophy is so flawed with the 3 point shooting.

Missed threes(especially at the top of the key) lead to transition buckets, and against teams like the Spurs and Warriors who capitalize against the long rebounds, we don't stand a chance unless we start shooting less of them and do what we are doing now.

 

Thats what Im trying to say. Regular season = harden iso. Playoffs = ball movement. But im just a hater.

 

GS is taking as many 3s this postseason as we did during the regular season and is doing just fine.

The league as a whole is shifting hard to Moreys "flawed" strategy. More 3s is the way of the future. I would guess the reason that our attempts are down this series is the crap defense we are up against. Harden can go 1 on 1 and easily beat his man or any of our various pick and roll plays is working with ease so we haven't settled for as many 3s.
