Here's hoping they didn't have to skimp on the listeria removal budget to debastardize their right-sizing strategy.
Also probably fire people or create hostile work conditions instead in order to get people to leave without paying unemployment.
They won't have to lay people off because they will have increased demand. Plus damn them for making themselves out to be heroes. Their pr department is sick. Should we give you a cookie for not firing presumably innocent employees?
No Worries recalls ... Blue Bell's Spiced Pumpkin Pecan Ice Cream. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/9LI8KGmVXrg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Ahh. Memories.
Obviously not that bad. Not many people have gotten sick enough to go to the hospital, and somehow the employees who can eat an unlimited amount have not gotten sick.
I don't recall people consuming Listerine... unless I'm doing it wrong all these years. This could turn out embarrassing for me...
What is your hatred towards Blue Bell? Is it because they are doing the right and responsible thing? How many other companies do a 100% recall AND not lay anyone off? Besides shutting down their doors forever and laying everyone off, what would make you happy?
Or it could be that they made the statement to reassure their employees, many of whom might be wondering if they will have jobs going forward given that their company is no longer actually producing or packaging anything.
Riiiiight. Let more people be affected while waiting for the government to issue a recall instead of being pro-active and issuing one yourself. If your statement tried to sound positive: "Thank goodness those listeria-flavored ice cream cartons are still on shelves because BB is a good company that doesn't want to increase demands. Also, we don't want to be considered "heroes" by being pro-active so we'll just sit back and hope no one else dies from BB listeria. Hopefully the government will help us because we don't want to look bad to dachuda86."
Make do with other brands. You might even end up liking them! (currently crying into store brand plain vanilla)
I think they need to bite the bullet and build completely new facilities. That might not be cost efficient or even necessary from an ops managers' or immunologist's viewpoint; but there's a comprehensive credibility issue that will kill this brand with the very next mistake.

Your mom is average at best. Best thing about Blue Bell is the Homemade Vanilla, there is no other store bought vanilla ice cream that is acceptable to put a la mode on a hot cobbler or brownie
