apparently they are doing everything to cover Dirk's deficient defense abilities...

what impresses me the most is the business like approach after the shot, Josh stirred it up, not Harden, rest of the team looked pissed walking back to the bench

If it was a home game, I'm sure they guys would've gone nuts with the rest of us

    I like it....

This is what I mean- complete and utter bull****. ****ing dirty-ass cheaters, I hope the Mavs get their ass absolutely ****ing handed to them on a MF silver platter.

(note to self- must remain calm until Sunday eve.)

THANK YOU! I saw that going on in the backgroun, and was utterly perplexed what the hell I was watching. Was some dude on the Mavs bench seriously trying to psych out Ariza from the sidelines? Are we playing middle schoolers? Of course, the game thread moves three pages for every sentence you post so there was no point mentioning it at the time, but I'm glad to see it WAS noticed.

    We ARE playing middle schoolers.

What is dirty about it? He isn't supposed to be standing and the clapping could have been distracting but I wouldn't label it as dirty.

He is literally on the court blocking a pass. It should be a fine if anything...

If it was called properly, it should have been a tech on the bench +/- an internal fine

One of the comments said he thinks the coach is giving directions to Dirk. After reading that and watching Dirk, it looks like Dirk is doing bad break dancing hahaha

Ah, I was looking at the wrong guy. Being on the court should have been a tech.

That would've been bizarre had Harden passed it to Ariza and it had hit the assistant coach on the court.

Thank god he did that. Harden is so clutch. I'd rather Harden hit a game winner than have Ariza attempt one.

Wow that's a new level of low. Like Jason Kidd hit me so I can spill my drink low.

when I saw it live, I thought it was weird but also thought he was basically telling Dirk to move out, trying to show up with motion instead of saying words

One, that definitely could have been a tech on the Mavs. Two, Dirk has no idea what to do with his hands in this video.

I included a period to abbreviate evening as eve.- if there were no period, then you'd be correct. But you're right, it looks like eve

hee hee. Well actually not yet. But it's coming. Go Rockets !

that coach is trying to show Dirk WHAT TO DO. That's even MORE puzzling.

As James said last summer, "Defensive, defensive? I'm not defensive ! "
