cool story. Meanwhile a bunch of other people enjoy it.

Hey, I think football sucks. But a lot of people enjoy that.

    Zero sum comments ftw.

I've been a Rockets fan longer than you've ever dreamed. I love this city and I love my sports teams.

The bad luck that clouds this city has permanently made me a pessimist. The remedy is a championship.

Sorry man. That happened last season so I didn't think it would hurt anyone's got viewings. Also the books have been out for years... I know, people don't read... But still. Maybe op can put a spoiler tag on it. I doubt that would stop anyone from clicking though.

Problem is 1 more game to win means somebody could get hurt on this team from now until the next series.

that fight was incredible, the gif is actually a perfect parallel to whats being said, and Game of Thrones is a fantastic show. Just because something may be violent does not mean it isn't worth attention.

if i had to get a negative of this game which I think can be improved upon (neyond the already stated defense) is tjones dissapearing act... he plays a strong and valuable 1st Q and then slows off.... naturally, this may be part of the flow of the game, but tjones always needs to be aggressive imo ,he's got a ton of talent

Meh.. some of you guys take the game threads WAY too seriously. It's raw unfiltered emotion. You can't criticize the game thread for having knee-jerk reactions. That's what the game thread is for. It's pure emotion.

I feel like anything basketball-related that you post in the game thread should not have ramifications outside of the game thread. You get a pass for being a little baby in a game thread.

However, if you then go and start a stupid thread about it.. you deserve whatever you get.

Happens for every team; been lurking on the Cowboys and Mavs threads for a while and it happens more than you think. People calling it game over in the first quarter or just having overall pessimistic feelings way too early in the game

Game threads are meant to be fun. From a personal pride perspective it has to be embarrassing to lose your mind so much that you rant the way some of these guys do.

It's fun if the Rockets are winning.

On the flip side, it becomes a safe vent-session for miserable souls seeking company when things aren't going well.
