Well, he IS riding into the sunset soon. He wanted another chance at a deep playoff run.

He would've gotten a chance if he left the Mavs for us last summer lol

Damn Dirk sounds pretty depressed. He knows his run for championships is over. Mavs have no hope unless they absolutely win free agency which they have never done.

No one wants to play with an aged Dirk and little else.

Props to all our bigs--they're hitting their FTs, even Caps.

As much as I hate his flopping, Dirk seems like a guy I would hangout with even if he wasn't a basketball player.

McHale is also playing Howard the entire 4th quarter in these playoffs.

He's got a high arcing shot from a high impossible to block release point. There's not that many 7ft+ combo forwards out there. I would even go to say Dirk, when he was younger and quicker, was a seven foot shooting guard. He's just maximized shooting at maximized size. Not sure if he could be as good as he is at 6 inches shorter.

yes there is. rockets had every excuse to be a lower seed team. dwight and jones missing half the season, and ending th eseason with 2 rotatin players out including the playoffs. being in the highly competitive west conference and in the southwest division where every team made the playoffs. still end the season with the 2nd seed. you can do that with free throws and luck. this should be an obvious things these haters cant recognize

No worries. Dwight will get plenty of rest if they close them out on Sunday. They may be off over a week if the Spurs and Clippers go 7.

Harden was double-teamed a lot the first two games. And Carlisle had just admitted in the post-game press conference that he changed the look on ways to defend Harden tonight.

I'm actually happy that Harden did what he's doing in this playoffs, taking whatever the defense is giving him, be it him having to dish or score.

Only on offense. He is a pathetic defender and flopper.

I read it as him giving credit to the Rockets and trying to say that maybe the Rockets are good. Basically trying to shut all the "haters" who try to blame everything else instead of just giving credit to a good team.

Mavs threw the kitchen sink at the Rockets and still lost. Says a lot about this Houston team.

That may not be a good thing. Once you get three straight days off, that's when the chance of your team getting rusty starts to creep in.
