Mavs favored to win tonight. Interesting.

 

Dallas is -1 meaning coin flip slightly in dallas' favor I believe the Rockets were like -5.5 for the first two games.

Dallas should play better at home of course in front of their fans but if its still a coin flip the Rockets should be able to come out ahead if they out hustle the Mavs tonight and weather the first quarter from Dallas. If the Rockets though can come out early and attack like they did in game 1 they'll take the crowd out from the get go making the rest of the game a bit easier

 

I wonder how the Mavs are going to defend Harden without Rondo. JJ Barea won't cut it one-on-one.

How are they going to double team Harden, when the Rockets have 3-point shooters in Ariza and Terry on the court? If Dirk comes up to help Barea, the results won't be much different from 4th Q of game 2. Harden's going to roll the ball to TJones. With that Tyson Chandler will be guarding TJones and Howard, one in the front, another in the back.

 

It's Houston luck to lose this game.

In my humble opinion (what do I know...) a win tonight will result in a sweep, a loss with result in Rockets in 6.. I believe opening the door for them will lead them to win another.

Roxkets just need to come out and take care of business. Work it inside out, crisp passing, and hope they get JSmoove of the 2nd half. They'll be just fine

First off how is their defense going to hold Houston to 93? And how is houstons defense going to give up 125? Only way that happens is Ellis goes off for 50 and dirk 40.

Mavs were only 5 and 6 point underdogs in game 1 and 2, that did not stop the Rockets from blowing them out in both. Overall on the year the Rockets are 48-34 "against the spread", so Vegas has been underestimating the team. Not to say they can't lose this game, it is probably the Mavs best shot at getting a win this series. But just because Vegas favors the Mavs by 1 point(basically even) doesn't mean it is interesting or meaningful.

 

I thought this was Harden's team. I get that Harden is praising Dwight but Harden is supposed to be the leader of this team, he can't proclaim himself to be the MVP of the league and then take a backseat to Dwight in the playoffs, that's not how it works. I know he hasn't had a complete terrible game so far in the playoffs because he's getting to the line a bunch, but he is missing way too many shots that he normally makes, he needs to understand in order for us to get to the promised land it has to be him doing the leading.

 

Going to the game to cheer on the good guys. Lets Go Rockets!
